Why can't a game find a good balance?


If your really going to be that insistant (cod4 monger) what they could do is have the best of both worlds (plus you ammazing camo and atachments)

Attachments would ruin the gameplay though. Like how people compete for certain weapons such as the Sniper Rifle, Energy Sword, and Spartan Laser. Attachments would take that fun away, so you can just camp in one place and keep killing people, switching your guns to a different type.

The only way i could see have COD4 style attachments is to have a separet multiplayer mode

were its marines verse covie and you could have classes but no super human spartan stuff like duel smgs or sheilds or super high jumping. kinda like odst style

I think that we could have a customizable class system, but still have default weapons lying around on the map.

That way, if you need a different weapon, you can get it without having to choose another class and then die.

okay what would you guys think if bungie were to add these two things

weapon attachments like a scope for the pistol you could pick up on the map turning it into a halo CE pistol, and a granade launcher that could be attached to an AR and a BR so you can shot granade farther away and with more acuracy

and how about some weapon skins you can unlock so when you go pick up the energy sword you pull out a katana or when you pick up a burt shot it shaped like a grunt you know stuff like that

I have a idea for weapon attachments too!! People say it would ruin Halo, but I don't see how. Tell me what you think of this.

Attachments wouldn't nessesarily make weapons better. The B.R. without the attachment would just be more effective at a closer range. For example one player has a B.R. without the attachment and one has the attachment. At a closer range the player without the attachment has the advantage becuase the B.R. is semi automatic . And at longer range the B.R. player with the attachment would have the advantage because the attachment makes it more accurate. Probably best not to have attachments for all weapons.

It would be great addition!!

I think active camo and over shields should be made into equipment. You would press (x) to activate active camo or over shield(s). Active camo would last for 45 seconds then you have to wait 30 seconds to use it again. The over shield(s) would take damage and recharge until 180 seconds is up.Then you have to wait 1 minute to use it again.

i mean you kind of explained the whole attachment thing better then i did by showing a weapon then how adding an attachment would imporve one thing athe cost another
i think when some ppeople frist read this they thought i wanted something that could turn any crapy weapon in to a power weapon and thats way their was such a hugh negative feed back
