item #2 make it so players can go one huge ships like thee pillar of autumn or forward unto dawn and make ship to ship battles with players manning the guns,repairing damged parts, or piloting the fighters. again cov and unsc ships need minor differences like unsc get's a MAC cannon and the covanent ship can have bigger dropships to board other ships

I have a idea for a class system using character models. You choose your model the same way you choose spartan or elite in Halo 3. You change your stats between the given ranges for Speed, Sprint Speed, Meele Strength, Jump Height, and Health by adding weight to your character in the appearance customization option. Your weight then affects the previously listed traits, but only between the given ranges for each model. In customgames you can toggle on/off whether everyone will have the stats they gave their models. I don't realy care about sprinting it was just a option I threw in so if you don't like it I don't care. This is just a example so Bungie would fix any problems and balance the traits of each model.

Starting Weapons: Assault Rife, Battle Rifle, 2 Frags
Max Carrying Capacity: 2 weapons, 2 grenades, 1 equipment
Min-Max Weight: 500-550 lbs
Min-Max Speed: 120-145%

When not dual wielding weapons have more recoil than in Halo 3. When weapons are dual wielded max spread is increased by 1 inch and bullet magnetism is reduced. Max spread is by how much each shot goes off course at max range. Lethality is based on Elites' health plus shield strength.

Too much, the engine couldnt possibly take that unless the entire game was based around it

They seem balenced well but we wouldnt have any say at all how balenced they would be, and the starting weapons and grenades i think should stay like it is in halo 3 just depends on the gametype and match

also the brutes speed recovery seems to be too fast, like i said i dont even try to figure out character balence issues, but ill put up your post anyway if only for reference

Campaign
Bungie has created an epic campaign experience with Halo 1, 2, 3 and I believe they are doing it all right

Multiplayer
For ranking brung back the halo 2 system

As for the engine I want to see a more advanced system based on the Halo 2 . Halo 2's game engine felt great. The weapons were great (apart from the few glitches). Everything felt more fun. And I imagine halo 2 veterns want it back.

I think that the vehicles should be expanded on. I want to see the transport warthog that is faster than other warthogs. I want to fly pelicans and they should have around 2 turrets and maybe rockets.

As for maps I agree with the day/night setting. I want to see symetry in maps rather than oversized battlefields. However I do think there should be large maps for large games. I expect at least 10 shipped maps.

I think that cistom games should have more options for change. Even though halo 3 had an amazing custom game system it could be expanded on. For example the flood in infection.

I want to see A large amount of downloadable content in Halo : reach. Mostly maps but I do think other DLC such as firefight maps and maybe new base gametypes should be included. I doubt any vehicles or weapins will appear as DLC

Forge
In halo 3 the forge was as far as we could hope to a PC editor. Though The halo 3 forge is amazing I think a forge 2.0 can be included.

- A "sticky" option allowing any object stick to any serface
- "Terrain" An option to create water effects or trees and grass
- "merging" I want to see an option to make the interlocking and geo-merging a lot easier
- A "Change view" option. Most forgers hate placing an object only to find it is not right. If you move then its not working either. I want to see an option to "lock" the monitor and go into a theater like view and then return at the touch of a button


Overall I think bungie will do a great job on reach and Hopefully at least some of comunity genorated ideas will be taken into account :)
