No, the game needs to be appropriately bloody. Maybe in a scene where a building got bombed out the settings would be appropriately disturbing. You shoot things, they bleed. You blow things up, they bleed more. A building blows up, and all hell breaks loose.

The game needs to be more disturbing, but not crazy exaggerated super gory like.

This is not Gears of War.
This is not Left 4 Dead.
This is not Fallout 3.

Or your toilet...

Haha, made my day right there.

Why do people assume Gears of War, L4D, etc. when people bring up blood and gore?

Did Gears of War invent blood or something?

No, but they sure as hell set the bar.

Hell dead space broke the meter. you cant die in that game without losing a limb or getting your head chawed offhttp

i love how EVERY TIME somebody suggests something that is AT ALL like another game, you fanboys spaz out and say it would "ruin Halo" having extra things like that would make the game better, just because L4D, Gears, and Fallout have those things doesn't mean it would be bad if bungie made thier own versions of it.
jesus some people are just so close minded

True. I've been playing Fallout 3 a lot lately, and the close-up slo-mo decapitations don't really add to the whole thing.

It doesn't matter if 11 year olds play the game, to play it they have to have parental consent, and if the parents don't want the gore they don't have to buy the game for thier kids.

So? The title is rated M for mature, if an eleven year old's mom or dad or gaurdian wants to buy the game for their child, then by all means, let it happen. If there is blood, gore, and a more darker realistic side to things, great.

I have seen kids who are way too young to be playing Gears of War, playing Gears of War. I would love a more grittier Halo.

I've seen 11 year olds play Gears of War one and two, and of course Fallout 3. Don't blame the game, blame bad parenting.

But here's the problem about the kids. They take kills and the whine like little -blam!-s. You want to throw them out the window. I haven't been in oen game where a little kid didn't cause some kidn of problems.

I've never been in one game where grown-ups didn't cause any kind of problem trying to boost their ego by flaming little kids.

There really should be something in the Matchmaking so it's age compatable. So little kids don't play with older kids or adults. It's really annoying, and I can't stand it. Wether it's CoD, or GoW, or Fallout, or Halo, the -blam!- little squeakers are there to ruin my gaming experience. Or at least let there be a certain age requirement before they go on XBL. They could have the game itself, but there should be an age requirement for XBL. These little kids are getting extremely annoying and are reducing my game experience and the joy of it. That's part of the reason why I stayed away from XBL for a four month period.

See, I never cursed out a little kid, until lthey do so a couple of times to me. They try to be tough by cursing, and I'm tired of it. Wether it's playing -blam!-/ Imperial Zombies on CoD or a Halo match, I always get -blam!- from them.

LoL, why is -blam!- counting as a bad word? WTF? It came out as ~blam!~.

God WTF?! Ok, I'll spell it out: N-A-Z-I.

Exactly, and to top it all off, they get very annoying at times, without me even saying a word. They start cursing at me, or follow me around to try and take my kills. W/E
I had my share of them........ At least make an option in Matchmaking where you could pick the age range of people you want to play with, or give limited access on XBL to little kids lower than a certain age.

So true, in fact I actually find adult's acting more childish than children most of the time.
