Don't base whether or not you buy a game on its graphics. Gameplay and how fun it is are what matter most. Not the textures of the grass that you will never need to look at!

Why? Perhaps the aforementioned alliance? Also, from the waist down, the silhouette in question looks a bit like it may be fully extending it's back-knees (the Elite's heel, like a dog's or Cat's, is like an extra knee). You completely missed my point. It was that they're all wearing the same armor. If those are Spartans (which they probably are) I'm sure I don't need to tell you trying to cram an Elite into a Mark V suit wouldn't end well. Besides, what would it be doing with them. During this time period, elites and humans hate each other with passion.
Just as I missed your point, I think you missed mine. I now understand what you were saying, however, I still stand by my point that the person on the pic might not be in Mark V armor, and that it might not be taking place during the Fall of Reach. It IS a prequel, but to which game we don't know. This could be taking place between Halo 2 and 3, a confusing and turmoil filled period of time, as evidenced by the end of Halo 2, Halo: Ghosts of Onyx, and Halo 3: ODST. Bungie can pretty much retcon anything they want as well, so who knows.
