each class is unique in what weapons they specialize in.
The weapons are close range, med range, long range, explosives and special.

Mark VI
CR=5
MR=5
LR=5
EX=3
SP=5

CQB (Close Quarters Battle)
CR=7
MR=5
LR=5
EX=3
SP=3

ODST
CR=5
MR=7
LR=3
EX=3
SP=5

Scout
CR=5
MR=3
LR=7
EX=5
SP=3

EOD (Explosives Ordnance Disposal)
CR=3
MR=5
LR=3
EX=7
SP=5

Recon
CR=3

The Number system is where each class starts with experience in that weapon class. more points means more weapon attachments and higher points means better attachments.

What? Why does CQB have high long range and why does Recon hve high explosives?
-blam!- this is just stupid.

I would love this, but as Kurty66 stated, these are practically random.

All right to be fair I like this kind of idea but not for a Halo Game. Halo is all about balanced maps and weapons. Classes are the opposite of that, not that they're a bad thing, they just aren't "Halo" in my opinion. Classes do require a lot more strategy in some respects but I can see that in 2011 most players would be "insert MLG perferred class here".

Would you dance for it?

Wow this would be great...

If Reach ran on my old NES....

I imagine Bungie can come up with a little more advanced skill system than that...

Just a hunch.
