My friend actually had this map downloaded. I've seen it from in-game. Looks like the map has a LOT of potential. Keep it up with maps like this one :-)

one quick question. How did you get the lights to work? I am currently working on a map for sandbox and people seem to see the lights differently even people on the same 360 sometimes see them differently (such as to one person all four lights are glowing like normal but someone else sees no lights at all and when they get close the lights seem sorta like camos or oversheilds since the area around them doesnt glow).

Get WorkPLaced!

There is a known bug on splitscreen with the lights on Sandbox. Sometimes they're there, sometimes not.

Thanks for the spotlight Urk, very cool. :)

MLG is for kids that are too fat to excel at real sports.

the map works. even for a whinging twunt like me.

sniper for each time behind the base, 1 sword, mix of single and dual wield weapons and good cover from spot to spot.

Nice work Sik!

  • 07.02.2009 12:55 PM PDT

wow, well done sik!

ive played this map quite a bit too, so much its imprinted in my mind :P

i love the middle tri-level bonanza that explodes in a team KoTH game (i wish there was more KoTH in MM) and how the mancannons do just work :D as far as moving around the map, is concerned, its very natural, you jump and you'll land where you wanted to land and not slip off an edge or get stuck in scenery. the bases are a major highlight in my eyes too, enough cover to retreat too, but also open enough to attack with the right tools. again a good map and well done sik :D

edit: also TEAM BROWN TEAM

A fantastic map. I've recommended it to my non-Bungie.net-going friends, and I hope to see this map progress.

Oooh I never got to play this map properly during testing I think? I did mess about on it with goldhawk for a while but that doesn't give me much to comment on. But it was certeinly good looking ant the mancannons did indeed work everytime :D

So you've tracked me down...

Be sure to check out my Youtube profile for all of my videos.

Supprisingly, i didn't actually get bored of playing this map over and over again as it developed. The map layout and weapons allow for such varied gameplay that you could play this map all night. The map also works very well for most of the standard matchmaking gametypes.

Congratulations on the map Sik!

What does that make now, Sik? 4 maps of yours that Bungie have used in playlists?

I hope you're charging them... or at the very least have applied for a staff position.

*foils Bungie's cunning plan to get free map development in the guise of competitions.

Given some of the tripe that was in the 7th playlist i have new found respect for the skill of your creations.

It's a shame you can't get some kind of reward for your skilled offerings.
