Most of us, if not all, know that Halo: ODST takes place during the events of Halo 2 and Halo 3 and tells us more about the battle for Earth from the ODST point-of-view. But what about the events that take place with MC aboard the Forerunner Dreadnought?

I know that Halo: Uprising explains some of the events aboard the Forerunner Dreadnought, but honestly, one of my biggest hopes for Halo 3 was that we'd start off fighting in the Dreadnought and see a confrontation between MC and Truth. Granted, there was a large gap between the ending of Halo: CE and the beginning of Halo 2, but those events were explained with lots of detail in Halo: First Strike. Personally, I'm not too sure if Halo: Uprising did enough to explain the events onboard the Dreadnought, so that's why I'm asking. If Bungie had the resources and time, would you like them to make a new downloabale campaign add-on about the MC onboard the Dreadnought? (Of course, after they finish everything else they're making right now)

I hunt for the Prophet of Contentment, the San 'Shyumm that murdered my son, and stole his birthright, his Energy Sword. They call our species Heretics. They claim to all that our tongues sting, our words a vile poison that feeds on the unworthy. I have seen the true face of Heresy. The head of a gallant warrior lay on the ground. His neck scorched and blistered, scarred by his own blade. I shall retrieve the weapon, and drive it through that bastard's heart! Punishment for his sins is nigh.

I think we were all expecting a fight on the Dreadnaught. I was also sad to see the Arbiter Campaign go away. And I wish there were more boss fights (Face to Face against the Drone Queen, Gravemind, and Truth.

Other things I missed were Honor Guards (even though they would have been Brutes), Golden Sentinels, and Enforcer Sentinels.

These would have made for a more interesting story (Especially that deep religious Covenant Civil War the Arbiter should have been fighting, though alongside humans.)

A lot of things I was hoping for didn't make it in. Personally, I was hoping for a somewhat on-rail part of a level where you were fighting at sea, and you were the gunner on the back of a large Doozy. Still, for all it's worth, Halo 3 was still pretty awesome.

Yes, but I just think Campaign-wise, Halo 2 felt like more work went into the Content. (I actually STILL go back and play levels from Halo 2, and watch cutscenes, in Halo 3, I don't feel compelled to do so.)
