I booted up Halo to have some fun multiplayer action today and was told in the screen just after you click on internet in multiplayer (the one that normally says "checking for updates") that a new patch, 1.07, was available. So I click ok and download it then run it. I go back into Halo and start up multiplayer only to find that the screen stays at "checking for updates" and never gets to the server screen. Can someone help me? anything I might have done wrong? I must play, must...play...

your firewall doesn't realise that you're running the same program, because it was updated. re alow halo to access the internet, and you should be fine

lol, ya this is annying, if Windows ever pops up a firewall window asking you to block or unblock the program almot always choose 'unblock'. Or if all else fails just go to your windows firewall settings and manually unblock Halo PC by checkmarking its box, that should solve your troubles :)

Or turn off windows firewall and get a hardware firewall.
