The word noob is banned on these forums. just thought i would throw that in.

But about the vehicles thing you should both stop your -blam!-ing. One of you likes vehicles the other doesnt END OF STORY!

He used the word nood, not noob. :) And because you've played for 3 years doesn't mean anything. Plus I wasn't nagging about being beat by a noob in a vehicle, I was talking about vehicles being unfair in general and how nobody I play with or any good player uses them. I actually enjoy it when a noob gets in a warthog, we call it the death trap cause that's all it is.

I dont think we will see PC maps in Halo2. I also think once you see how detailed and well set up Halo2 maps are, you wont wont to play the old ones. Its not in any companys interest to spend money and time on remaking old maps, when they could be using that man power and time to make new ones. But you just gotta love the maps that came with HaloPC.

I love maps on the original Halo, most of the ones on the PC are trash, the new ones. I hope they keep maps like Hang Em', Chill Out, Dammy, Priz... and just add new things to them or modify them, that'd be a great idea.

And Blood Gulch is a good map if you get rid of all the vehicles. :)

"dammy"? "priz"? man u noobs crack mw up

Noobs? You're calling me a noob.. sorry if you're too illiterate to understand what the abbreviations meant. It was Damnation and Prisoner. Also learn to type real and full words before calling someone a noob, cause I assure you I'm not a noob and if you have XBC I'll be happy to prove that to you.

Also the PC maps sucked, I'm sorry. They was too big, yes they was well detailed and put together nicely but they was too big and boring.

I'm hardly a kid and the point you tried to make was this 'everyone knows you're a noob' when in fact nobody knows who I am nor my skill level, so therefor nobody knows anything. Your point was not made, and you failed to get it across. I responded to your post in the same manner you did mine, very stupidly cause that is all it deserved.

Oh and there put in larger maps because halo only had 2-3 large maps, but not only that they made the maps large to take full use of the Banshee, and the online gaming. Oh and the fuel rod, and the lamethrower were not over-power.

The fuel rod was nothing but a rapid fire plasma rocket launcher that shot entirely too quick and killed entirely too quick. The flamethrower was a close range weapon you only had to hold down for a few seconds to take out an entire group. All of the new maps on Halo PC were entirely CTF and 16 player based, and I pray Bungie doesn't see online play as a reason to make most of the Halo 2 maps this way cause that is ridiculous. Maps designed for banshees will not be played in LAN Tournaments, and will be entirely for vehicle hoarding noobs who want to bring a Star Wars feel to Halo. No real Halo player will want to climb into a banshee and fly around running over people in Multiplayer because it takes the skill out of the game. Thank God Bungie is putting in answers to all of that nonsense with ways to take out vehicles.

Halo PC sucked because it was entirely for 16 players, vehicles was abused, and the new weapons were unbalanced. I would play on dedicated servers the couple of weeks I actually tolerated Halo PC, and the differential was so obvious. On smaller maps that actually required skill the better team would always win, and win very convincingly... but when games shifted to the larger, vehicle based maps the team with less skill would always close the gap greatly, proving that the new maps were entirely nooby friendly and required less skill than the maps of old. I hope they never let Gearbox touch another thing Bungie does.

Actually I'm 21, and in my last year of Computer Programming at Vanderbilt. I'm hardly a crying teen.. I just understand the complexities of these games and how noobs such as yourself pray for more vehicle use so you can stop being OWNED.

The rocket laucher is a more powerful and more deadly weapon then the fuel rod. You should be happy the fuel rod help to take down your worse fear, over abused vehicles.
The flamethrower was a killer upclose so is the shotgun, and a well place grenade and one shot from the shotgun before the person even gets close to hurt you with the flamethrower. Hell just one-three shots with the shotgun alone can kill a person.

The Fuel Rod gun was a blinding weapon with very little answer and very little needed accuracy. The Flame Thrower was only a good as the shotgun against one person, but the fact it could take out an entire group with a few seconds of fire was overpowering. At least the shotgun and rocket launcher require some accuracy and stability.

Ha, I know what Halo was about a very deep gamplay, that inculed vehicles, weapons, and rich strategy. The weapons were banalce with the vehicles. There people just like you around here, people who cry about other peoples own strategy. Like crying about people that abuse a weapons, grenades or in your case vehicles. And my stragtegy haves nothing to do with vehicles, infect even tho I don't use the vehicles I'm glad the vehicles are there, and that people use them. So yes I want more vehicles. And no, I'm not a noob like yourself. And people like you pray for no vehicles so that yourself can not be OWNED.

I could care less if someone uses a vehicle, in fact I call vehicles 'death traps' because they are easily avoided and taken down. The reason I don't want Halo to be all about large maps and vehicles is simply because I don't want to have to use them to be able to fight someone, and I like putting skill against skill, weapon skill that is. I don't mind a few maps before vehicle related cause I won't use them, just like no good players will. I simply meant I hope Halo 2 isn't like Halo PC and focuses more on real Halo gameplay rather than riding around in a banshee across a huge level.

I had much rather be OWNED by another player than someone riding around in a warthog because then I know they outplayed me, but quite frankly vehicles are a disadvantage in most cases. If you didn't use vehicles you wouldn't be so Hell bent on supporting them then denying the ract you use them.

Also I'm not a noob, and I have no idea if you are but my XBC sign-in is shadedhalo, look me up if you wish to find out. :) I'm out for the night, sleep well everyone.
