I got my Recon for the '08 VDay tournament for second most kills; 2671.

I didn't "earn" it via VidMasters.

Considering the complete success and fan-love of Halo 3's "Forge", why would Bungie NOT bring back the extensive Forge to Reach? It was, IMO, a fun aspect to Halo 3 and really shared the Halo community's imagination, creativeness, and ideas easily. Granted, some, well, most players couldn't forge like a pro, but the gamers could still enjoy a fun time dropping objects on other players, having forge battles, and setting up sloppily-made obstacle courses.

The fact is, the limited Forge was not enough. Players wanted a map CREATOR, that to Far Cry's. Since Reach will be a newer game (as far as software and hardware goes) than prior games, capable of taking ideas far beyond previous generations due to an upgraded engine, a map creator possibilities is higher than in the past. I don't see why Bungie would keep Halo 3's limited Forge. It is relevant that an upgraded, more free "Forge", if any, should be implemented to Halo: Reach.

Any thoughts, criticism, and suggestions based on this is greatly appreciated.

Yeah, have a farcry type editor, that is in forge mode. This could probably make more or less, identical remakes of other maps. This will be fun.

Also, have tha abilty, to change colors of blocks etc. through the options for that item. Make all maps, have every item if you are starting from scratch. Have every usuable item from Halo 3 in this new forge.

I'd love to be a 10 year old and tell my mom I'm going on an adventure out into the world catching Pokemon, with her full support. Never mind the fact that there are rapists, criminals, and murders out there, or the fact that I may get killed by a Pokemon.

Luckily I have Pikachu.

Halo: Reach should ship with a second disc that would be a full map maker that installs to your Windows PC, with it you can make your own Halo: Reach Multiplayer maps from scratch, once your maps are completed you then save it to your fileshare and then from there you can download your map and play it from the game disc on your Xbox 360.

That would be really awesome, except my PC sucks and probably couldn't run it :( maybe have both?

Not a tree

Yah. Geometry Changer.

The only thing I personally want is natural objects. Trees, boulders, etc. Pre-made buildings would also be really cool. Corpses too. And maybe AI. But that's it. And... Maybe selectable terrain. And weather/time of day. I'm done now.

And the option to forge with Project Natal would be badass!

baka Baka BAKA BAKA!

I'd be happy with a timesplitters style editor for interior maps or something and something like a tony hawks esque terrain editor for outside but bigger and replace bowls, ramps and half pipes with guns, vehicles and things that make you go boom. Nothing amazingly over the top but something that lets you build a unique map.

Using Far Cry 2 editor in xbox is annoying. And it made you to go back to Halo Forge.
I think the money limit should be removed. Forge should have much much more stuff in forge.
And Death Boundarys should be removable.
There should be maps in space where you can build space stations/ships and there should be doors that can be opened or closed. Its really stupid to build all the doors from pallets or something.

Building maps on FC2 on an XBox was VERY annoying. How about, like mentioned above, building a map on a computer - then transferring it to your XBox.
