Subject: Nova 1 = Charlie company and Sierra 320 is not a SPARTAN.

I'd love to be a 10 year old and tell my mom I'm going on an adventure out into the world catching Pokemon, with her full support. Never mind the fact that there are rapists, criminals, and murders out there, or the fact that I may get killed by a Pokemon.

Luckily I have Pikachu.

So who are the 2 unnamed Spartans mentioned in the video. I suppose only time will tell. And it is also made clear that there was a second class of spartan II's. How do you explain Yasmin. They only tested it on one person. And the fact that it says another group of Spartan II's were conscripted.
Again Halopedia is not an entirely credible source unless if backed up by the games, comics, or novels which are all considered cannon. As for the term Sierra, that doesn't mean Spartan. Sierra is a fire team callsign for the letter S, for example....

A = Alpha
B = Beta
C = Charlie
D = Delta
E = Echo
G = Gamma
S = Sierra
Z = Zulu

IMO when they mention Sierra I think it is more or less a squad Marines and in the end they may have linked up with some of the unnamed Spartans that Cheehwawa is referring to.

I would also like to point out. If the second class of SPARTAN-IIs was on Reach don't you think we would have known ? They were probably getting overrun, so wouldn't they try and communicate with whoever else was there ? It wouldn't make sense. The original SPARTAN-IIs would have found out. Especially because only a small area of the planet wasn't glassed. I'm sure they would have ran into a new generation of SPARTANS. If there actually was a second class, they probably wouldn't graduate until well after the SPARTAN-IIIs which is in 2552. Reach would be long gone. If all of that isn't enough proof, why would they be anywhere near Reach ? A new elite group of soldiers would probably be on some high priority mission. By the time they would get in system the battle for reach would be well over. Remember the battle for reach was only a few hours.

A planet tends to be big. We were only presented with the first group of Spartan's experiences there. They didn't have to mention it. Additionally, think it from a production standpoint. Do you think Bungie knew they would be making this game back in 2001. And the Spartans probably died. Reach falling is pretty high priority. The communications probably didn't work, or could've gotten intercepted by the covenant.

I understand, but Sierra, in Halo, is used to designate Spartans. Can you point me to one instance where it did not.

I do not appreciate B.Net Group solicitation. If you ignore this and send me an invitation anyway, I will block communications with you.

wasnt yasmin something to with ilovebees, bungie has been over this hundreds of times, ilovebees is not cannon!!!!

Actually, I Love Bees may or may not be canon. Both Joe Staten and Frank O'Connor stated that in 2006, they were working toward figuring out whether it was or wasn't (actually, Frankie stated that they were already "embracing it as canon", but Staten contradicted him a month later saying they weren't done figuring it out), so the answer is currently unknown.

If ILB turns out to be canon, Yasmine will confirm the existence of a second wave of Spartan-IIs. However, there are mounds of evidence to suggest otherwise: that the two teaser characters, if they are Spartans, are from the first class of the Spartan-II program.

A brief summary of that link:

The common misconception about no Spartan numbers above '150' would be easily explained by an originally larger selection pool of subjects, say 350 or even 400. In the novels, all we are ever told about the Spartan candidacy is that they found '150' subjects through genetic screening that they wanted to indoctrinate, but found they could only utilize half that number, which is when they started inspecting them personally. What means of criteria they used before the genetic screening process is unknown, but it would make sense that they would have a smaller, controlled number of subjects from which to do proceed with their genetic screening rather than just scanning the entirety of humanity en masse.

This is further reinforced by a hugely prevalent plot device in Dr. Halsey's character. She begins to feel increasingly guilty about her involvement with the Spartan project as early as 2525. This exponentiates throughout the novels until she kidnaps Kelly at the end of First Strike and eventually travels to Onyx in an attempt to "save" the Spartan-IIIs from their militaristic fates.

For Halsey to restart her Spartan-II program even after she began to relent her involvement would make absolutely no sense whatsoever, so the only real evidence toward the Spartan-II Class-II theory is the I Love Bees involvement and the number (which again, can be explained)... so until the canon of ILB is settled, this really isn't something that can be answered.

Yes. This is all wild and rampant speculation. Bungie is probably laughing at how off we are. Oh well, I look forward to the game, regardless. Can't wait for the "wort, wort, wort"

Finally, a theory that makes sense!

I don't think you understand how simple something like that is to change. Just because they referred to master chief as Sierra once does not mean they can't ever use it for something else.

Jesus, people need to get their ears cleaned. Its NOBLE-1. The only thing I am going to say is that just because NOVA-1 makes more sense does not mean anything. We have barely a 30 second long trailer, these theories need to stop NOW.

People can flame me all they want but I know what I hear.
