Lurking since before halo 2 :)

Why don't you level 50's out there, when you finally decide to apply for colleges...why don't you put that you were a level 50 on your application. And put it on your job resume, too. See how much it matters, and how much people care.

The master chief is not a cyborg. he has no machine parts. he is human genetically altered and augmented. but human

god im quite tierd of poeple asking if he's gunna be in this game somhow or how you could play as him, and to be honest i think that they should get over having a halo game with no spartans, or is it they are so bad they reley on his energy shields?

so in my opinon ODST FTW

How about we go ahead and introduce an incredulously significant point as to not slander the chief and in fact make him level to the ODST in terms of longevity and skill. So the game system is balanced without completely leveling the halo universe, why dont we employ more of a SWAT approach to O.D.S.T. where its incredibly easy to die due to a lack of shielding, so the game really truthfully shows but this might be really hard to swallow, who truly is the better warrior because if you place completely realistic limitations and standards of the time, one shot almost always kills if its a plasma burn. This wil force players to have to become much more of tacticians and make it a much more thinking game on how to achieve the lowest rate of casualties, and force players to have to gain quick trigger fingers. If its indeed so easy to kill it will mesh players into a halo universe where stakes are much higher, tactical knowledge is needed at a premium to succeed, and I think bungie would love to see a fun gaming community slowly evolve into this very intricate, complex group of gamers who garner to more sophisticated forms of combat. It will stimulate a smart gaming community not to get all overanalytical about it, but it would just be for the better I believe if they want to employ a sense of realistic modern warfare in O.D.S.T. Then again, I cant really say I am ever going to be sure I know exactly what theyre aiming for in their games without making sheer assumptions. Basically, keep the O.D.S.T., but advocate for concepts of one shot, one kill and other things that forces the players idea of conventional warfare to evolve.

I loved MC, but I'm gonna go for ODST here. I'm just up for some change... and the kickass silenced weapons.

  • 07.05.2009 2:28 AM PDT

get out of here stalker

SpecOps Elites.
According to multiplayer, they are as strong as a spartan. Then again, according to multiplayer, traffic cones can kill you...
They can drop into battle, like an ODST (Floodgate).
They're elites. It's awesome. Brutes are stupid and fat compared to an elite.

i don't want master chief to never be in a halo game again i love that guy.
but odst feels more fun because of the fact u need to survive.

Hey man master cheif is not a freakin cyborg he is a super soldier that has been trained as a Spartan since the age of 6. He is so strong because of a injection that was given to him at the age of 14(great vision, bones strong as steel, muscle density greater, and lightning fast reflexs.)

Fix'd

Sorry, I just realized now after looking at this thread, remembering XO: Wolverine, and remembering the comics that Master Chief is a total ripoff of Wolverine...just needs claws.

Not really no because master cheif doesnt have claws and he cant super regenrate and hes not a mutant and wolverine didnt get any super soldiers injections he just got an Adamantium skeleton.....so your wrong.....I own wolverine tittles...Iam the fan.....of both master cheif and wolvering so no there is no comparison between these two

failtaculaur for you

WRONG was more than an injection was full on sergical enhancing and an injection.

if that's true, then why do grunts in halo CE sometimes say "bad cyborg!"?

because grunts weren't told about the top-secret SPARTAN II program...

Master Chief is cooler. No contest, if I wanted someone protecting humanity, it would be the Chief.

But it's going to be interesting to play as a normal soldier, plus see the Covenant's reaction towards this. For example, a Jackal will likely stand their ground, Grunts will be less likely to flee, Brutes will be cocky.

if you're like me, you think that master chief is a kick ass guy. but then again, you're kinda getting tired of being this powerful unstoppable cyborg. you wanna try being in an ordinary soldier's helmet. who do you pick?

Uh, no cyborg, only gene therapy.

I might understand why you think he's a cyborg, because he is in an armor right?
Well a cyborg is half human half machine. Master Chief is completly separate from his armor (its an armor after all) and still we shouldn't call it armor because it's an exoskeleton.

I've liked ODSTs since I heard of them in Halo: The Flood book. I was happy that they finally put ODSTs into Halo 2. They were really good looking in Halo 3, and now their own game. Amazing.
