How to spell "space"?

S-P-ACE! SPACE!

If you look on Halopedia, it says that the Plasma Rifle weighs about 13 pounds, and that a loaded MA5C weighs about 9 pounds. Why no duel wield? The size? What would make the AR un-duel-wieldable?

I think the weight distribution and placement of the triggers would make it seem odd in my opinion.

Maybe, but do we know anything about that?

Try dual wielding any kind of assault rifle. Your aim will be severely affected. It's not all about weight, it's also about the shape of the gun, and the strength of recoil.

I agree, the accuracy would be all off because the gun is longer than a plasma gun and also has greater recoil. To be honest the light weight of the gun would just complicate these problems because it would be easier for the recoil to make the gun jump upward when fired. I am not saying that a Spartan could not dual wield ARs but I don't think they would risk the loss of accuracy or the increased strain on their wrists by doing so.

Their armor would basically take all of that strain for them.

I hunt for the Prophet of Contentment, the San 'Shyumm that murdered my son, and stole his birthright, his Energy Sword. They call our species Heretics. They claim to all that our tongues sting, our words a vile poison that feeds on the unworthy. I have seen the true face of Heresy. The head of a gallant warrior lay on the ground. His neck scorched and blistered, scarred by his own blade. I shall retrieve the weapon, and drive it through that bastard's heart! Punishment for his sins is nigh.

The Plasma Rifle should never have been dual wieldable to begin with. In Halo 2 they actually made it both smaller AND weaker than in Halo CE, and now it is nowhere near as good as it should be.

These are still powerful guns. The armor would help, but it would still be way too inaccurate.
