Okay, now you're implying that just because I'm not such a good Halo player and because I spend most of my time on Social that that is why I'm going for such an idea.
You know nothing, my friend. Absolutely -blam!- nothing.
I never did say that MLG is bad... okay well, I think MLG ruined gaming but that is besides the point. I never did say that Team Slayer is bad.
Yet, you used me suggesting and supporting a class based system to mean I only play Infection and Big Team.
First of all, What the -blam!-?
If you think playing those means I'm not good at Halo, then obviously you don't even know what the full Halo experience is. You're probably one of those asses who think they're 'hardcore' of whatever the -blam!- that is. Well guess what? You may be 'hardcore' but when you start belittling people because they play other gametypes, you're not a Hardcore halo fan. You're not. You're just not.
Secondly, as I posted in my own thread,
These classes were designed to play such that someone took Halo 3 and turned it into a class based game. When a game is designed to incorparate such a system, it'll be different.
That's why I tell people to instead of completely dissing it, to try and improve on the concept. If Halo: Reach or any franchise undergoes a change in gameplay design, no matter how small of big that change is, the developers always make sure they retain that similar feel.
For example, Banjo Kazooie, Nuts and Bolts. The idea was similar in the fact that it was a Platformer. Yet, with the shift of focus onto Vehicle Construction and using those vehicles the designers managed to change the gameplay pretty drastically without completely alienating their long time fans.
Same case here. If Halo: Reach is designed from the ground up to support classes, you know damn well that the gameplay will changed such that it will support classes and yet, feel exactly like Halo.
