Wrong! The maps that come with Halo 3 ODST add to the price of the game. If you would like to prove me wrong, then please explain how a 5-6 hour campaign and a survival mode can be worth more than $30.
Don't even try with these people. These people will buy anything that has Halo on it. They'll say "I'd buy it for $200." They actually believe that a 5-6 hour campaign is a good thing.
I tried to explain it, believe me, but they won't listen. Don't go down this road.Yes, because all the people who support ODST are a bunch of money throwing idiot fanbois!
The 5-6 hour Campaign thing was changed. If I remember, its longer now considering we have open world gameplay this time around. Expect it to be longer than that year old statement(unless of course you're going to try and prove me wrong by rushing through on Easy).
The price is decided by MS. Not Bungie. Microsoft saw enough content for it to be considered a full game. Which is true, you get a lot of stuff. Campaign, Firefight, Extras, Reach Beta, every Halo map on 1 disc. 2 discs plus another game(reach beta) for 60 bucks. It shouldn't matter if you payed for some of those maps before, you got those early. You are not paying for them again, you're paying for Campaign, Firefight, Reach Beta and the 3 new Mythic Maps. That alone is worth my money. Is that not worth that?
I hope you are right. I really really want the campaign to be more than at least 10 hours, but we don't know that, do we? We don't know how much bigger it has grown.
Also, Why do people keep mentioning "The price is decided by MS. Not Bungie.". We all know this, it doesn't make any difference. We're not here to make the price go lower. We're here to open people's eyes! We want them to see that its being overpriced.
And according to Microsoft, you're wrong. The maps ARE part of the price: http://kotaku.com/5274549/
