I have 2 fairly cool ideas. ! that everyone knows and the second I thought of the other day.

1.You a couple of friends and some computer AI are defending a base against an unstoppable force of covenant, coming in waves as you lose men. Plenty of ammo, health and oversheilds are dotted around the base. But eventually these will run out. Soon you wil die and that is the end of you. No respawning. Or maybe 2 lives, something you can change before game starts. Don't worry because the covenant will most likely be normal difficulty setting. Perhaps you could change that before the game starts too. As for weapons, the base will have huyman weapons and vehicles, whereas the covenant wil naturally have covenant weapons and vehicles.

People have thought of using the flood. These will work but will have mixed weapons and no vehicles. Without vehicles maybe there's more of them.

2. My new idea is based on the co-operative idea. But with 4 players and 4 times the enemies. There could also be a campaign race with 1 persons doing the level at the same time as the other guy. But in like parrelel universes so that they won't run into each other and each others debris. You could do this race in co-op. pair vs pair. It would lead to a quite fun finish.
