Vrrin Vrrin, yeah here I come.

no. and this thread sucks. no offence, but it sucks.

  • 07.05.2009 3:08 PM PDT

Its not even out yet. Why are you talking in past tense?

Anyways, FireFight is probably what most people are looking forwards to.

Halo: CE didn't have Firefight, only Campaign. It was a huge hit.
Halo 2 didn't have Firefight, only Campaign and Multiplayer. It was an even bigger hit.
Halo 3 didn't have Firefight, only Campaign and Multiplayer. It was the biggest hit ever.

That answer your question?

I'm everywhere, I'm it.

Absolutely not, we just found out about Firefight a couple of weeks ago and before it's discovery people were still bouncing off of walls about ODST.

  • 07.05.2009 3:12 PM PDT

what is up people?

no because did halo 3 fail that didn't have firefight if it didnt have it it wouldnt matter unless they said they were going to do it but then didnt that would piss people off

I would also say no but I am bored.

The search bar is like a DMR.

Anyone can use it effectively if they try.
Smart people do use it effectively.
Idiots don't, then complain about how it doesn't work.
The only problem is that, the DMR is used in Reach, but the search bar isn't used in the Reach forum.

No, not at all but I would not have near as much interest in the game as I do with firefight.

It's still going to fail by itself. Everyone is going to be playing Halo 3 Multi in about 2 weeks after it releases. We'll see, but trust me, once it comes true I'm going to post a thread linking to this.

Halo: CE came out in a time where multiplayer wasn't standard (Unless you're talking PC, in which case it had it)

Halo 2 and 3 both had their own multiplayer, which ODST would lack without Firefight. Firefight is the aspect of ODST that will add longevity and replay value, so yes, Firefight will certainly help sales although i don't think it would completely fail without it.

  • 07.05.2009 3:28 PM PDT

Smile like a doughnut !!

why would people switch back to H3? its the same multiplayer. instead of buying a new H3 for my second xbox i can just have ODST in one and H3 in the other. Besides the story mode is gonna kick @$$. dont like dont buy it, and shut up.

back on topic, I think that Firefight will give it more value, but I don't think it would have died without it.

Slegger whats up with you and acting like an a.ss on a forum?

Member of team Master Theory.

17th Mythic Conqueror of Halo 3.
5th Mythic Conqueror of ODST.
If you would like to know more about Mythic difficulty please go to this thread. Thank you.

Please do not send me "recruitment messages" as I'm not interested in joining any groups currently.

"Died" indicates that it has already happened. The game hasn't even "lived" yet so how can it have "died"?

I'm only a "jerk" (good way to say something about someone without cursing) because people are so idiotic these days. I have to be a "jerk" to them to get my point into their extremely thick skulls.

  • 07.05.2009 4:09 PM PDT

Yeah, I'm usually nice on my first reply, touchy on my second if their still an idiot, and on the third I'm in word Hulk mode.
On topic, FireFight is a welcome addition to Halo 3: ODST, but I don't think ODST is dead without it.

  • 07.05.2009 4:34 PM PDT

campaign looks like you can adventure around a bit i doubt it will be as big as fallout 3 but it still will be fun

This thread would have appealed to me more if it was written with crayons.

I broke one of the cords for my X11s because I couldn't get past the final American course in Doritos Crash Course.

I probably would have questioned the pricing if it didn't have firefight, but it wouldn't have killed it

  • 07.05.2009 4:42 PM PDT

Well, I probably wouldn't be as interested in it had it not had Firefight but I imagine it could last without it.

  • 07.05.2009 4:44 PM PDT

Here’s what Luke had to say about the differences in treatment between the Spartans and Elites in Reach:

“Instead of piece-by-piece customization like the Spartans, Elite customization is a full model swap with models selected from the various Elite classes appearing throughout the Campaign. There are all kinds of reasons for this, not the least of which is our continued emphasis on the Spartan as your identity in Reach.”
