The Rookies name is J.D, what do you think it stands for?

I think it stands for James Derrik because that is my first and middle name -blam!-!

There are two things on this forum that piss me off;
Idiots and group invites.
What's even worse, is that I can never seem to get away from either of them ¬_¬

I think it's Jammy Dodger. Cause it's a bisuit. And bisuits rule. :)
Especially burnt ones. Thats why I'll probably just have him throwing flame grenades at his feet :P

I am the Carpet man they talk about... I jump from star to star, I walk it out.

John Doe.

If they aren't giving his name now, they probably won't in the game.

What brings you to my humble little profile page? Well, whatever it is, you're more than welcome, so make yourself at home.

Why not take a look at my Service Record?

...but if you're interested in only the best screenshots I've produced, then please do visit my file share!

John Doe. Seriously.

Bungie want the Rookie to be the ultimate faceless character, so not having a name is the next logical extension of that. It wouldn't make storyline sense if his service tag was censored, so they just put John Doe on the end to avoid giving him a proper name. The Rookie is who you want him to be, and I quite like that.

Well, that's me theory anyway! :P

Right. So your evidence for this is... where? I fail to see it.

Didn't it cross your mind that perhaps they where saving it for the game? Or was that ball just too small to catch?
