1. The -blam!- does stamina have to do with engineers?

2. Yes, it's confirmed they are indeed in the game.

Your logic, sentence structure, and coherency are unparalleled! Say, did you happen to go to University?

They could heal you

  • 07.05.2009 4:41 PM PDT

I get it now.
Engineers only fix machinery, they can't magically heal wounds and fix broken bones... but then again, neither can a medical kiosk...

*sigh* No it's not officially confirmed and is therefore leaked info. Change post or be sent to banadu.

I heard they recreate the person if they have some of their DNA.

Well I might be crazy, though I did read somewhere on Halowikipedia.

Hey, don't be a zumbo! Join Halo Wars RTS!
I'm right 97% of the time. Who cares about the other 4%?

Of course not silly, that's what the MediGel is for! *bows down to the MediGel*

Anyway, yeah, Engineers will be in the game, probably, but I doubt the player will interact with them much.

I like the Mk V armor.

I bet if they are, if u find one, u can give it samples of ur dna, and it passes it on to others, which allow them to heal bad wounds, like scripted wounds, not ones that u get in gameplay.

Youre thinking of Halo Wars. In the actual halo universe they can only fix machinery.

Edit: spelling

Spelling doesn't count past 3 AM.

Sounds like a bunch of Justin Bieber wannabes in here. I bet you all wear skinny jeans too.

... Really? The Engineers are on the Covenant side, why would they help humans? If anything they'll be like a defenseless drone flying around.

What's hot, sexy and purple?

I know, I know, it's just for balancing reasons so the covenant have something for healing....but in Halo Wars engineers can heal grunts, elites, jackals and every other infantry unit :)

Stop sucking Bungie's e-peen. That list is real, get over yourself. You can't get banned for talking about it, only linking to it. I've been here longer than you, so eff off.

It would be nice to have engineers in the game, but they most likely wont be able to heal you at least they can fix our vehicles.

Brains beats brawn get used to it

Fear the Red Comet

Variety is the spice of life.
Long live games.
Death to all fanboys.

If engineers are in Halo ODST I'm curious what function they would serve gameplay wise in a first person shooter game. In old vids the Engineer was supposedly supposed to go around creating shields at will in front of Elites or regerating them in Halo CE before they got cut. In Halo Wars they repair untis and vehicles which is what their roles were in the book, and given the perspective, scale, and how it works to use engineers it all fits into the gameplay nicely. However, in the case of ODST what could they do? They're not inheriently hostile to humans (the only case with lighter and some being because he was protecting his friend) and would otherwise repair vehicles and equipment at random. Perhaps you may need to gather some and have them repair the SI at some point? In any case....

* Any user claiming to have, linking to, asking for, or otherwise discussing material that is claimed to be inappropriately "leaked" will be banned for a minimum of thirty days with possible permanent ban, regardless of whether the leak is real or fake. "Leaked" material includes any material not officially released by Bungie via its website, its employees in their official capacity, or to the press.
That's from the rules. I suggest you actually read them, and then stop acting high and mighty on the internet.

I agree with your assessment of this situation, but you spelled one thing wrong "lighter and some" should be "lighter than some."
