I haven't been keeping up with videogames in general for quite a while (working full-time + school will do that to you)... so, I'm sorry in advance.
I read through the FAQ in hopes that I would have all of my questions answered, but I still have a few remaining:
So, ODST comes with 2 discs... 1 with the new campaign and 1 with all of the multi-player(matchmaking) maps from Halo 3 + a few new maps. I'm assuming that the second disc will function almost exactly the same as the current Halo 3 disc in regards to matchmaking. What I was wanting to know is, well, is this accurate? Will you be able to play against standard Halo 3 disc players (obviously I mean on older maps)? Will there be a separate matchmaking feature that you play as ODST? Will the latest maps included in the ODST ever be available for standard Halo 3 players? If (and most likely when) there are add-ons for ODST multi-player will standard Halo 3 players be able to purchase these add-ons? --- Also, is the new multi-player disc just copy/pasted files from Halo 3, or are these graphically enhanced?
I haven't purchased Mythic, but if you can't get the ODST maps for the original Halo 3 disc it would seem like a waste of money buying Mythic, if I can just wait a couple months to get all of the maps. At the same time, I tried playing for the first time in a while recently and it won't let me play hardly any gametypes without the Mythic pack.
