... we can play everything but Campaign, but we get the last three Mythic maps. I got that part. However, does that mean we will need to alternate the Halo 3 disc and the ODST bonus disc to go between Halo 3 campaign and playing on the Mythic (part 2) maps? Is there no way to copy them over to the normal Halo 3 disc, or will I have to swap over every time I want to go from campaign to Matchmaking?

Thoughts?

Yes you do have to switch discs.

The only things you cannot do with the second ODST disk are Firefight, the ODST Campaign, and the Halo 3 campaign. Switching disks takes what? 20 seconds including the loading and all that.

The disc is made for purely multiplayer so I don't know why you'd want the Halo 3 campaign if you got the ODST campaign with it.

Because I love the halo 3 campaign. I play it tonnes offline at friends' houses, and even at home when the internet dies.

Sure, I'll be on ODST's campaign for a while, but sooner or later I'll want to go back to Halo 3's campaign. I always end up going back.

Well its not that hard to switch disks. You make it sound like you will never be able to play the campaign again.

In this great future you cant forget your past

I wonder if I copy the campaign disk to the HD and I keep the multiplayer disk in there, can I boot the campaign from there or will I need to swap? Swapping wastes my valuable time

I'm not saying that, it's just a nuisance, that's all. Surely removing campaign from the disc took more effort than keeping it on there?

i would prefer not to, because it's kinda hard for me to switch disks (handicapped btw) and i love to play halo 3's campaign also... oh well i guess i'll just have to switch them.

I wonder if Bungie decides to put the Halo 3 campaign on the second disc. Don't flame me, I just think it would be a pretty cool idea to package Halo 3 and ODST in the same game case on two different discs.

as I said many times, if it has halo in it, it's going to cost something.

you want to play the H3 campaign but you only have ODST, thinking you could play both campaigns? sucks to be you! now give M$ some 60 for a campaign.

just a move from M$ and bungie to force us to buy EVERY halo game. I'm surprised they didn't manage to find something else to force us to buy HW (beside the mythic map pack included).

Wouldn't it make much more sense if you copied the multiplayer disc onto the HD?

I assume they may do something much like Rock Band where you can export all the maps to the HD and play them from the Halo 3 disc.
