Yeah. I'm back. Whatcha gonna do about it?
H2O Madness
Asguard walked up behind Bartoneye, water-balloon in-hand, ready to attack. Bartoneye has been sitting down writing up some kind of story on his favorite forums. Asguard yells a terrible war-cry as he tosses his balloon directly at the back of Bart's head, whom falls over out of his chair like a life-less dummy. Asguard, confused, walks over to his wet victim to find that he is indeed just a mannequine. Now scared, Asguard begins to walk slowly backwards from the fake Bartoneye. As he gets perhaps five feet back, he hears a voice above him, quite quietly, say "Boo." Bartoneye had hidden himself in the tall ceiling of the work-room and now had several water-balloons at the ready. Asguard has nowhere to go, but runs towards the exit, lekku trailing behind him, in a futile attempt to escape, only to get pelted in the back by several well-aimed, well-thrown water balloons. Asguard sunkers off, defeated.
"Well, that was easy enough." Bartoneye says outloud to himself. Though when he turns around he is met face-to-face with his one and only counter-part Nevandra. "Long-time no see, eh Barton?" "Eh, erm.... what are you doing with that fire hose, Neva?" Nevandra only grinned impishly as she opened fire, or opened water as the case may be, upon Bartoneye. Barton tried to get away, but with no such luck. He was sent sprawling across the floor by the huge jet of water, the whole while Nevandra was laughing like a maniac. Her whole face contorted by craziness. As Nevandra revels in her victory, she spins around gracefully, her lekku flying out with momentum. The silly humans and their games, but it was so much fun! She turns around to skip away, only to be confronted by the wizard Bartruith
"Ye thought ye could escape, lassie?" Bartruith began as he waved his arms in the shape of odd runes, the air in front of him contorted as if in a heat-wave and strange markings appearing out of what seemed to be nowhere. "Uhm, well Bartruith you know I can't hang around... I have a crowd to dance for. A girl's got to make a living right?" Bartruith simply smiles and says, "Of course, ye should. But first, ye will feel my watery wrath!" As Bartruith finished his sentence, his eyes glazed over and he began chanting some strange language, something which sounded very ancient, and very potent. The sound of roaring water is heard from all sides and moments later a torrential flood fills the room, all converging on Nevandra tossing her about like a rag-doll. Bartruith is un-scathed thanks to the shielding spell he weaved in the air while he talked. When all the water subsides, Nevandra is left dazed and drenched as she saunders off out of the chamber.
Bartruith lay in his bed, at the top of the tower within the castle he and his comrades shared, Castle Phoenix Fire. Quietly, even quietly enough not to activate any of Bartruith's traps, they'd lived together too long for that, Asguard, Bartoneye, and Nevandra moved in closer to His sleeping form. B93, as is the only way the others knew the crafty Spartan, had modified some of his weaponry such as his BR55 Battle Rifle and the MA5C Assault Rifle to fire pellets of water, these weapons the three silent stalkers now wielded in their hands. Bartoneye signals to the others with his long-sword when to strike, tapping the stone floor barely audibly. He tapped out the seconds... 1.... 2.... 3.... at the third tap, they all pulled their triggers, jets of water pellets pounding into Bartruith's back and, as he sprung up, his chest. Angry with all the intruders, Bartruith prepared a chant whilst floating above his bed that would send all of them back out of his chambers and down the stair-well in a wave of water. At the last moment, what appeared to be a Fragmentation Grenade came rolling into the room at the exact second Bartruith would've finished his impishly delightful chant. With a flash and a loud bang, the grenade went off, covering all who stood in the room with water... an amazing amount that had fit inside the small confines of the grenade.
B93 laughed at his victims, scoffing and pointing at their dazed expressions. His pale skin and Icy-Blue eyes made even more creepy in the glow of the moon. As his laughter faded he slowly began to realize that Bartruith had begun chanting again, and his other three victims had him in their crosshairs. B93 slowly took a few steps back when Bartoneye yells out, "Now!" and the three with modififed weapons pelt B93 in the back before he disapears around a corner, thinking himself safe. Bartruith simply grins as he finishes his chant and shoves his arms outwards causing a tidal wave of water to sweep down the hall, and around the corner, until B93 is swept off his feet and sent down the rest of the stair-well screaming, "Damn you!" the whole length down. As the moon falls, and the sun rises, the group of friends remaining in Bartruith's chambers said their goodbyes as they all left Castle Phoenix and returned to their respected games. The castle now empty, Jose' stands up from his desk, posts his short-story on his favorite forums, and walks away to enjoy some well deserved gaming time.
