i was wondering how far away can you get from each other when playing co op in ODST.

some of you might have noticed how when you go through a loading point in halo, it teleports everyone to the person who is advancing to the next part of the map.

My point is when you are playing as the rookie in "free roam", do you think that you can go anywhere on the free roam map or do you have to stay somewhat close

i'd say pretty far away, it is free roam after all

..........

As far as you want without going out of the city

you can roam wherever you want, and if you want to regroup you can't set off a beacon to meet up at.

I don't think they would do the teleport thing. Gameplay wise, and canon wise.

Jesus loves you, but everyone else thinks you're a twat.

i dont think you will be able to get that far, by the looks of things (going by the map) the city is broken up into squares so chances are when you try and go out of the "squares" your teammate will follow, but i really doubt that we will be able to walk as far apart as we want because the xbox just wouldn't have the system memory(RAM) to load two sections

I just want to get four ODSTs on all four corners of the city, and then fight their way to meet in the center. Awesome!

I doubt they'll have teleportation. That's what waypoints are for.

Waypoints are your friends.

I'm guessing that you will probably be able to go as far away from your squad-mates as long as no one activates a flashback or secret of sorts.
