"It is better to reign in hell than serve in heaven"

In a IGN interview with Joe Staten, he was asked about modes of transportation in the game, he replied that he doesnt want to give that away just yet, the interviewer eagerly shouts "Elephant Travel!", Staten replies, "Indeed, You know, when the game comes out you'll realize just how true that almost was." obviously the word almost means no elephant, but it is somthing like that, any speculation?

Here's the interview:

Riverside23: For all the women of the group, if you've got a real man at least let him have his big piece of chicken.

WhtButterflyLiz: lol. Bring home bigger chikkinz, then, real man!!!

DEATHPIMP72: *throws pterodactyl on table*
Suck it JoeSki!!!

Maybe they threw the idea around and it just didn't make the final cut.

"It is better to reign in hell than serve in heaven"

maybe, but i think its something that has to do with a massive transport like he elephant, otherwise you wouldnt notice it when the game comes out.

oh I see.

yeah, maybe they threw around the idea, but did something different.

I'm betting on seeing a crashed elephant or something along the story, just for giggles and teasing.

Nothing is so embarrassing as watching someone do something that you said could never be done.

Maybe the elephant means *Dramatic breath* The massive thingymobile in Halo 3

"A kiss in the shape of a bullet..."

I posted this in the ODST section at the Xbox.com forums some time ago (02-22-2009, to be precise):

I think it would be cool if, just like in Halo Wars, you could call in a Pelican to pick you up and take you to any of the Landing Pads (like the ones shown in this concept art) that could be scattered over the city of New Mombasa[...]

I still think this could be the transportation method they've been hiding, but then again, it's just an idea, it could be something completely different.

Feet first into hell!

i think the superintendant will turn on the train thingy for you and itll take you across the city.
