umm so about that halo 2 game....

I know...it sucks, but you gotta deal with it. I'd rather have a laggy browsing on Bungie than risk my ass with the spyware on IE.

yeah, i agree completely. i think its a partially super-secret plan by microsoft to lure people back to using the virus vulnurable ie by making bungie.net laggy as hell w/ firefox. millions of people play this game, so some must fall for it.

EDIT: wait, you guys are talking about the scrolling? i thought you guys were talking about the laggy browsing, because my scrolling is fine once i've loaded the page.

I got a different skin from the Mozilla site, that might help.

Firefox > IE = Microsoft = Bungie

Firefox > Bungie

I was just wondering about this...the scrolling is ridiculous. I've tried refreshing the page w/no avail. Anyone have any serious ideas?

Even after installing that plug in thing, I can't figure it out.

Um... here's a simple one: Don't use Firefox. It's garbage anyway.

"The way of the warrior is the path of shadow. The gift of the warrior is to percieve that which cannot be seen. The spirit of the warrior is to strike in a single moment. The destiny of the warrior is balance in all things. And when balance is lost... all that is left is the reckoning."

I stopped using Firefox now because I spend most of my online time here, but if someone could find a fix for it, that'd be sweet.

Yea..I hate this problem. I use firefox for everything but then I have the IE browser icon on my desktop with the homepage set to bungie.net. The only reason I ever open it up is to use bungie.net without the scroll lag which is sooo annoyying!

It's a firefox problem that I'm hoping v1.1 will fix. I refuse to use IE for anything other than windows update. Otherwise I end up with countless amounts of spyware that within 2 days will drag my connection to dial-up speeds.

It's not firefox.

This site's code sucks. That's all there is to it. It's way to "busy" and doesn't work that well; even in IE.

I'm so good at Halo, Chuck Norris has me as an avoided player.

I messaged Achronos about this a while ago. This was his reply:

There is a bug in Firefox that has to do with scrolling text over background images. It makes scrolling really slow, among other things. Make sure you use the latest build of Firefox. It isn't completely fixed in the latest builds, but their getting there.

Chalk it up to using CSS so extensively.
