Well, I for one was dissappointed yet somewhat understood the rationale behind having two discs for the ODST package. However I was wondering if a Bungie Staff member could clear this up. Lets say I install the Multiplayer only disc onto my hard drive and put the ODST Campaign Disc in. Now, installed games still need the discs right? Would it be possible that the ODST Disc can be used as a substitute for the Second Multiplayer disc?

I.E, as long as I have the Multiplayer component installed and my ODST Disc in, I don't have to change from the ODST Disc to the Multiplayer Disc?

This would be a good idea, and would make things easier, especially for the fickle fans.

MJOLNIR SOLDIER

you will still need the multiplayer disc in even if you have installed you can not substitute the other disc, and as a side note they do not recommend instaling the multiplayer disc they said this about halo 3 and it still goes for the multiplayer disc on odst from what i understand it will actually make the game run slower, this is not the case for the odst campaign disc it will run better i.e. shorter load times if you install the disc i believe i read this all in a weekly update a while ago hope it helps

However, the Multiplayer disc does not require much loading now does it? All the maps are fully loaded on the disc. Besides, while Halo 3's disc wasn't optimized for installation, you'd think that Bungie did something about it, right?
