This is probably more of a game bug than a rendering bug, but if a video is recorded across a host migration, the camera will go first person on [yourself]. After it goes first person all other camera controls are not recorded.

Rendered video will play for other people but not myself. Another member of the site was nice enough to test that out for me.

When I went to the MS Silverlight website, it said I had the most current version.

I was able to download and watch my rendered video using Windows Media Viewer, but I am unable to watch it on the Bnet site itself.

Im having a problme actually rendering the videos. I have rendered reach videos before (a couple of weeks ago) but everytime i click one of the links to get to the render page, they dont work, or it takes me to the same page i was just on. Ive tried it on a couple of the files i wish to reder. Here is one of them: http://www.bungie.net/Stats/Reach/FileDetails.aspx?fid=502372 0&player=HalfEvilHomer

I have plenty of render minutes and plenty of time left on my subscription. I have no idea what is wrong =S

Edit = found out the problme, it was because i had internet explorer 9 beta installed! It doesnt work in that browser, so went back to IE 8 =)

Hey guys. I made a film of the final cutscene/level of Halo Reach.
Spoilers if you watch.
Here it is.
But the sound doesn't play until it goes into the First Person view, and I'm in control.

It makes the whole thing less "epic" as it's all quiet until that point.

I'm not sure what can be done, but I just want to know.

I'm having an issue with my fileshare... When I try to upload a file to my fileshare from my xbox I get an error that says: The creator of this file is not allowed on xbox live.

What is this supposed to mean? I'm on xbox live all the time and I have never been banned... Is there a way to fix this?

Can I please have some sort of response? I've posted before and I've sent an email, both have yet to get a response :(

I paid for a Bungie Pro account, I would like to be able to use it please!!!

Thank you,
m00se kNuckler

Unfortunately, one of the quirks of our system is that it will not pick up audio if you start during a cutscene and will rarely pick up audio during cutscenes. I'm sorry for the trouble; do you need a refund on any "less-than-epic" films?

So that's the reason?
Haa, I can't tell if you're serious or making a joke, so I'll say it's all cool. ;)

Fair enough then. I'll try and make a new video. I get my Render Minutes tomorrow anyway. :)
Thanks for the response.

I am able to view the video online without any audio glitches and when I download the video the audio works fine as well. It seems there isn't any issue on our side, so there isn't a whole lot I can do to help. You can either try re-uploading the video to YouTube or contact their support team.

I just thought I'd throw in, I think that's an issue with youtube in general. I have the same thing happen whenever I upload a video in Windows Movie Maker with completely non-Bungie related material. I have no idea why and I don't even know how it works, hah. But yeah, I think it's on their side.

That's to do with the processing power, recently i put my laptop to high speed and everything plays fine, all HD used to lag. Hope i helped :)

EDIT: Nevermind, it got fixed! =)

I'm sorry if this question has already been asked, but I noticed that some rendered films have a blue like button and it says Bungie Pro underneath of it. I have Bungie Pro and rendered a film, how come my like button isn't blue and doesn't say that I am a Bungie Pro member when obviously, I am since the film is rendered?

Any chance that the silverlight videos will be replaced with an actual standard like embedded video, since currently Linux users cannot view these videos? Flash video would work well if it can be converted without much stress on the Bungie.net servers.

Of course, I can just click the download button, and watch it in VLC, but it would be nice to view it as an embedded video. Bungie.net is the only site I've ever seen use Silverlight for video, and for good reason. Flash video is actually viewable by everyone. Using the new <video> tags that all good browsers (ie, everything but IE) use would work too, since that doesn't require any plugins to be installed, but I think that only supports OGM video, not WMV, plus Internet Explorer will take a few years to catch up to HTML 5.

I wear the cheese, it does not wear me.

This account is now retired due to WLID changing. Webteam needs to fix that, seriously >.>

The picture/sound in this video on the bungieprovideo youtube channel freezes at 10 seconds in (although the cool thing in the clip already happened).

Although all the video examples on the Moonlight page work perfectly, the videos on Bungie.net fail with an error claiming that the video is located at http://localhost/video1.wmv, and gives an AG_E_NETWORK_ERROR exception.

It looks like the uploaded film file (before being rendered via pro) has the same freeze at 10 seconds in; the user would have to make a new film and re-render it.

Every time I click "Watch this film online with bungie pro" or "Render film and watch online", nothing happens. When I say nothing happens; no new page opens, nothing that shows that it has been rendered, and no new page comes up. I've re-done this thing 10 times from step one to finish. If it can't be fixed, then I would like a refund, because this is ridiculous.

If you never give up, you never lose.

Here's my story:

my Xbox live username has always been FabFubar from the beginning. I chose it because it sounded cool and those who know what 'fubar' means wouldn't be offended by it anyway.

now, i've never been told or warned by microsoft they find the name offensive. I've never had problems uploading my files to my fileshare in Halo 3, had no problem rendering them either. But when I tried to upload my first awesome clip to my fileshare, it said the "username of the creator of this content is offensive" and it wouldn't let me put it on my fileshare. Can't upload my sweet multiplayer map either.

and then i was like "lol, ok I guess", until i realised you can only render videos from your fileshare. So i can't put them on my computer either. This makes my bungie pro 100% worthless and I'm practically wasting money every second that goes by until this problem is fixed.

I'm glad microsoft lets you change your gamertag, and that's what I did, for the mere price of 800 microsoft points. (yes, that is sarcasm.)

With my new username I went back to my saved films. I changed the name slightly and re-saved them, the creator name was now Daitor. (I have always been the creator.)

but now it STILL doesn't let me upload my films or map! what the hell? I'm glad I can upload all films after my name change, but what about my sweet extermination?? It's amazing how much money i have wasted so far...

Does anyone feel my pain? I bet I'm the only guy with this problem, who calls himself FabFubar right? Does anyone know a solution to this?
