I can't say that I wasn't a little mystified and angry, when I decided to renew my bungie pro, it was stated there would be 5 render minutes, believing (how foolishly) that I could actually render 5 minutes of footage, I figured that this would be an easier and cheaper alternative to a capture card [in the short term at least].
Only to find that any footage under 1 minute, even 10 seconds of footage counted as 1 minute of rendering time, now I would say that the two target markets of the video capturing customers using bungie pro will want to do one of two things with there footage:
1. Create a montage or upload their footage to YouTube or something along these lines.
[Most of the footage these people will be needing will not be a minute long. Most around the 10 second mark].
2. People interested in capturing there whole gameplay footage. To upload to YouTube again or to submit in ladders, such as GameBattles.
[However with the Render packages being stated at the 10 minute mark, most gameplay footage in ladders such as GameBattles will be over the 10 minute mark, Why not buy another 10 minute package? hey why not, I get the feeling thats what bungie would like you to do.....].
Although as a main Microsoft Terms + Conditions this product will not be refunded, so I guess I will not see my money any time soon.
Also if anyone can remember what was the price of bungie pro, before the video capturing?
