The best thing you can do for now is to edit your post with a message to us, telling us to delete it. Deleting your own posts would be a good way to get around blacklists at times, so being able to have any user delete his own posts may not be the best idea.
How about all those messages getting recorded into a log. Say, for instance, you say something offensive and can't think of a way around it or you accidently post something and want to get rid of it altogether, the moderators can have a log of the messages in the forum before they were deleted. Let's say someone does call for a serious blacklisting. He deletes his post. You, however, can open the log, view what he posted, and still blacklist him.
