Well i don't know about you but i was actually dissapointed. heretic, is all right. though seems too much like the old one.citidel is obviously from campaign,(though does look the best) and then there long shore. the real disapointment. when i heard that name i expected a bright and vibrant coastline, instead of the dull map we see today which simply looks like the outside of foundry. Well that's the end of my rant, so lets hear yours!

I had a very similar thing, only I threw a 14 story building out of a pool and hit a kid on a paper aeroplane.

The Flood is just this awesome :D

longshore sounded a LOT like a water stage

I'm eager to play Longshore. I think it'll be a really fun BTB map. Maybe even a 5v5 map, but will have to play it before I can judge really. From the screen I'm liking its potential.

Heretic, will have to see how it plays with halo 3 physics.

Citadel, screen didn't impress me at all.

I'm stoked on Heretic and Citadel. Midship was awesome, and I'm pretty happy that it looks like a graphically updated version of its Halo 2 counterpart. No need to change the scenery when the setting for the original worked so perfectly. I think I'm going to like Citadel for the same reasons I liked Midship: because it seems to be an awesome small arena-type map that will be great for smaller parties.

As for Longshore, I have absolutely no idea what to expect. I know it's going to be big, but the layout is a complete mystery. I guess one more massive map couldn't hurt.

^ the logic, despite me disagreeing with it, is that since these maps ship with ODST it should be on these boards.

I don't get how anyone can be critical of these maps though unless they disliked Midship. Citadel got a small room shot and while I can't comment on what is and isn't in longshore's, it seems like there's much more to it than what we saw.

The fight has been complete.... now get the cookies!

While we certainly share your enthusiasm for the return, we here at the Bungie.net community are mostly made up of snarky asses and jerks who will ridicule you for making a thread about something revealed months ago. We regret that your innocent intentions will almost certainly be replied with anger and sarcasm, and politely invite you to don your Flame-suit, because you just did the internet equivalent of jumping up the Construct lifts.

Hmm Longshore, anyone hear Death Island from pc?! Anyone?
