I for one have tons of trouble trying to find a game whenever I get into H2 Matchmaking. It seems like I can never find a game in Hardcore, which is the only playlist I like to play. With the dwindling number of H2 players only decreasing by the day I feel that the ranking system isn't necessary and makes it that much harder to get a game. I know sometimes you wouldn't be playing with an equal caliber of player, but at least you could get into a game instead of waiting forever to never find anything. I mean rank doesn't really mean anything to me and shouldn't to anyone else especially in a somewhat dated game. I just want the chance to play a great competitive game which is rare these days.

Make sure you give a response to explain your vote.

Yes, but I don't think they would do it. Removing the ranking system would help people find games faster, but I don't think the keys to Matchmaking are in Bungie's hands anymore so there's nothing they can do about it.

No, I love to play snipers and removing the ranking system means I will get matched up with players who aren't as good as me. I've tried playing on a new account and getting 20-30 kills a game till level 30+ isn't much fun

No, there are still quite a few players out there that would rather play halo 2 then 3. Plus, having ranks in halo 2 makes it so that when I go back I can either just play like team training or I can play team slayer and actually have a motivation to win games. Without the rank, I think that winning games in halo 2 wouldn't mean anything.
