First, i hope it has Fiefight.

1) Flood.
I am entirely aware that this will likely go against the timeline, but it's a multiplayer game variant. Also, this is not the same thing as fire fight.

This is a survival mode (not firefight) game. Player spawn in a level, and have a set ammount of time before the Flood arrives. The flood comes in a constant stream through thins such as vents, gates, and tunnels. Some entrances can be temporarily blocked off if they cave in (players could cause a cave in with an explosive) but some entrances are always open. At first the flood comes a few at a time, but the amount coming in grows with every flood you kill. If a player dies, he can be revived by a team mate with a med kit, but if the flood gets to him first he becomes a flood. The goal is to survive as long as possible and get the most points.

2) Invasion.

This would be a player vs player gametype. One team plays as the covenant invading Reach, the other is the UNSC defending. This would play like a mix of Objective games, each level playing entirely differently.

One level could be the Covenant trying to destroy a "Super MAC Gun's" generator. The covenant start with nothing but a drop zone, the UNSC has the Generator and two barricades. The covenant has to take the Barricades (similar to territories) then destroy the generator (assault).

Another level could be a Covenant ship boarding and attacking a space station. The covenant has to take control of areas in the station (territories), possibly destroy a wall or ship in the station ( assault) then get something (a commanding officer, an AI, or a ship's NAV database) and bring it back to their ship (CTF)

One could be the covenant trying to take a Military Base down. They would have to destroy walls, gates, turrets, and other defenses (assault), break in and take the Base (territories). Also, it could become a two way game. the UNSC has to destroy a Covenant ship or Scarab before it destroys a base.

Anyone else have cool game ideas?

Hot potato : You are forced to carry a bomb with a time limit, your speed is increased, and once you get close enough to someone, like touch them, the bomb transfers to them. The previous bomb carrier still has his speed for 10 seconds (to get away) and the new bomb carrier doesn't get his speed up for 10 seconds.

So if you are the last one carrying the bomb, you explode and die.

As for a point system, I guess seconds without the bomb could work. (This of course would only be for like Customs)

Endurance mode: You are left waiting in a lobby for Halo: Reach to find you a suitable match. Higher levels include more potential matches to be found, although, you will not enter in any of them.

I really like this idea! But the bomb would have to explode in 10 seconds or so if they don't give it to someone else. Idk. I know Bungie will come up with cool stuff. The thing I most want to see relating to custom games and gametypes is to have even more customization. SUCH AS: Increased speed running :) and lower gravity :) also some more in-depth radar customization.
