1. Bungie doesn't name prices. So instead of pinning a wrong problem on the first people you can name, why don't you just stop talking.
2. Just because this has been labeled an expansion, doesn't mean it can't be priced as a full game. This game has more content in it, and more original content in many new games. How many games do you know of that have come out with a new campaign, and the same generic multiplayer every time.
3. The price makes sense:
Campaign: $20
Firefight: $10
Halo 3 Multiplayer (plus maps): $20
Reach beta: $10
And before you start saying "But we shouldn't be paying for maps that we already blah, blah, blah..." Well this is a gift for all the people who either haven't boughten Halo 3, or the people who turned away early. Yeah they get Legendary and Mythic for free, but we get all the extra gameplay time. I wouldn't have waited myself. If you would have, then it's your own damn fault for buying them now.
So basically, here's the deal. This game is worth $60, since it has just as much innovation as half the games on the market currently. But if you want to say that since it's automatically an expansion, it should be less, you can go ahead and be ignorant. But instead of complaining about it here, since there have already been about 500 threads about this, just don't buy the game. But I'm betting you're going to pay for it anyway. Hooray for hypocrisy!
