It's not english spelled backwards, it's how the word sounds backwards.

Thats only with spelling. the sounds backward is go, the spelling backwards is trow. It makes a big difference. In wort, you don't make a tr sound, so there can't be a tr sound when it's backwards.

Go to HBO to get the full translations of everything an elite says. Btw, has anyone noticed Maka's eye moving occasionally? I was reading a post one day and saw something move, and now I see it all the time.

Thats what im all about, helping a fellow bungie fan. Happy gaming.

With B.B. gone, the passion of Bungie.net has lessened.

It only sounds like they are saying "wort wort wort." They're actually saying "Og og og."

And they only speak backwards english in the game. Its an easy way to create an alien-sounding toungue, since it really sounds out-of-this-world. I'm sure that in the storyline, they have their own language.

Thanks Tmone, I still wonder what it is the Elites are actually saying! I mean I know its the sarge backwards (or at least sounds a lot like it) but I wish I knew what "Wort Wort Wort" actually means!

There is one thing that the Elite says that Xbill does not have. When the Elite is killed by friendly fire he says "I dont have enough on my mind"
It in Bungie's dialog archive for Halo. Here is the link to the sound.
