Because I remember Bungie said you shouldn't install Halo 3 on your hardrive, how about ODST?

The fight has been complete.... now get the cookies!

While we certainly share your enthusiasm for the return, we here at the Bungie.net community are mostly made up of snarky asses and jerks who will ridicule you for making a thread about something revealed months ago. We regret that your innocent intentions will almost certainly be replied with anger and sarcasm, and politely invite you to don your Flame-suit, because you just did the internet equivalent of jumping up the Construct lifts.

ODST yep.
Halo 3- Still the same.

Don't forget to flush the toilet, because -blam!- stinks.

Yes for both.

The Halo 3 multiplayer maps are in the disc, not in the hard drive, Bungie mentioned Halo 3 doesn't perform well when the DLC maps are loaded from the HDD with Halo 3 being used simultaneously.

So since the whole multiplayer is being used from the same location it's fine.

EDIT: NO for the MP Disc

You are wrong, in a weekly update they did a little Q and A with Bungie and Bungie said that the halo 3 multiplayer disc still shouldn't be downloaded.

This is wrong, in a previous update it was said that if you put Halo 3 on your Hard Drive then it will lag because the game uses the extra space on your HDD to store info and stuff, but if you Dl the game to it then it can't retrieve the info as fast and messes up hte game, or something like that

So Most Definitely NOT the MP Disc on your HDD

Q. You told us not to use NXE to copy Halo 3 to the Xbox 360 hard drive. You fixed that for Halo 3: ODST, right?

A. Yup. Well, I didn't. Mat Noguchi and a crew of awesome dudes did. Awesome. Dudes. You'll be able to copy the Halo 3: ODST campaign disc directly to your hard drive if you want to. We still recommend that you do not do so with the secondary disc.

Good memory you have there bud.

EDIT: @ Phoenix thanks for the lil bit of information, now i see why it doesn't perform well...
