Proud frenchie, elite fan, anthro artist not hellbent on yiff convention/pics/whatever, mature and intelligent forum guy, 4chaner, halo 2 lover and halo 3 hater.

I don't want wii sports with halo in it.

natal = no buy from me. and it'll be the same for every pro players, mlg-ist, fatties, and anybody who bought an xbox because they like old school gaming with a controller.

M$ is just trying to steal some of the wii's consumers, that's it.
IF HR uses natal, it won't be REQUIRED. or they'd loose TONS of consumers, me being the first.

thank god SOME other people understand this...

I do agree with you guys and i really wouldn't like it if they implemented Natal into this but there are so many factors/possibilities that could change. Still, FPS games on 360, i prefer controller.

Clearly because the desktop uses a 3 prong plug and a laptop uses a 2 prong plug, the microwave will fill your car with tostitos better

No, but it won't require natal. Natal doesn't even have a seasonal release date yet.

  • 07.09.2009 8:03 AM PDT

Even if Natal has been out since the 360 launch no developer of any FPS's in their right mind would make a game solely Natal Required. It's not going to happen thus making this thread pretty pointless.

Actually Harold Ryan said that the Bungie Engineers loved Natal when they played around with a test version of it that they got from Microsoft, and if Natal was finished before Reach was released he said that he would definitely think of implementing it.

I would want to see how it works, Bungie aren't fools and wouldn't require something that people don't want. I could very easily see them implementing controller and natal controls into the game, almost like Brawl.

Well, I was making tacos so, I'm not sure about the other guys.

I don't think the #'s add up here. At this point Reach will be releasing in 2010 which leads me to believe they've had this game under development for a while. I really have to doubt that Reach's development was hand in hand with Natal's since Natal itself is relatively new technology to Microsoft. To answer your question though, If Natal is required, I'll be in line to purchase it. Halo CE, 2 and 3 have been awesome enough that I'll try Bungie's next game even if it's the worst reviewed game ever.

I know I seen that. it for sure wouldn't be required though.

Halo 3: ODST 1000 G

well that could be a good idea actually but still for the rest o the game idd like a controller instead of natal I love lego and forge

There are two things on this forum that piss me off;
Idiots and group invites.
What's even worse, is that I can never seem to get away from either of them ¬_¬

"I would have been your daddy, but the dog beat me over the fence."

Sigh, it won't. Seriously, how could they impliment natal into an FPS? The idea is somewhat stupid due to the fact that Project Natal carries one fatal flaw. And that flaw is movement, more specifically walking and running.

Unless you had a masive space to play in, then walking and running would be impossible, serverly limiting the capabilities of Project Natal. the only way movement could be implemented is by using a controller.

No. Because Natal will probably cost an ass-load, and I wouldn't buy it just for Halo Reach.

When Halo: Reach comes out the install base of Natal will not be large enough for Natal to be required even if it is implemented in the game somehow.

Use your heads. There is no way that Reach will implement Natal in a manner which requires you to have it. Maybe Bungie will find a creative way to integrate it. If they do, you'll still be able to bypass it's use. Bungie is not going to take their bread and butter franchise and restrict sales by only making it usable by a minority of players.

These threads are ridiculous. Some of you need to get some common sense.

Correct, Natal will not ruin Halo, it can only make it better.

I agree.

Bungie is not run by idiots. If they implement Natal at all it's not going to interfere with the type of gameplay you're familiar with in any way. The may use it to manipulate the user interface or something but you are not going to be running around your living room pretending to point an imaginary gun.

How stupid do you think they are?
