For Firefight do yo get to customize your own ODST or do you take the roles as the Rookie, Buck, ect.

I think you take control of one of the ODST's from campaign, i know you can choose to remove their helmet and that's all i know.

Choose your ODST. Do you want the helmet on or off? What secondary color do you want? make an emblem.

Why the hell don't people use meh?

From what i could understand you choose a character and costumize it there aint really many outfits to choose is there? i mean ODSTs all have the same shoulders and chests exept helm might be a bit different and the color you can edit these

Emblem

i read some where that you pick a squa memeber and then can deside things like helmet on helmet off, helmet visor down or up, and stuff like that

Yeah, I don't think that you can lower the visor or remove the helmet. At least not on the Rookie's character.
