Subject: Please, just STOP!!

Please, EVRYONE, stop with the spartan theories, pricing arguements, etc.!! The description for this forum is: "Drop in and discuss Halo 3: ODST Campaign and Fire Fight." So please, just discuss the Campaign and Fire Fight game mode. Thank you for your time.

Armor Lock isn't overpowered. You just suck at Reach :)

Reach isn't bad, you're just a BK :)

For my gamertag, look up "Ghoulishtie"

Agreed, but they don't care. They have to -blam!- about something because they're too pathetic to realize anything we tell them.

  • 07.09.2009 6:15 PM PDT

Check out the group, Planet Reach and talk about Bungie's next game without the annoyance of the public forum. Oh and it's nice there too.

You thought you had lag, it took Jesus 3 days to re-spawn.

Bingo! It's pointless to try.

The circle is now complete.

While you may not agree with the type of threads in this forum, they do belong here.

It may be pointless to try to influence the thruth into the minds of the ingnorant, stubborn, and flat out unintelligent. Yet, it never hurts to put in a little effort.

Not according to the forum itself.

While I agree with that, I know I've tried far too often already. Believe me, it's not worth it. People believe what they want to believe.

And yes, they belong here, unfortunately.

It seems that is the way the whole world is today, except a few.

You are quite right. It's not acceptable to be wrong or lose anymore either. The times are changing. Do your best to make things clear and leave it at that. Going beyond is worthless. (Applies more to this place than real life, of course.)

Someone else who realises that it is "no longer acceptable to be unacceptable." Either here [on Bungie.net], or in the realworld, people have become unable to fail, and because of that they may be able to do as please without consiquences.

In this case, people may post freely, compley off topic of the entire forum.

I can see I'm going to agree with what you say for the most part, but the theories and discussion of price is on topic here. They're annoying, but in compliance with the rules. The forum description is broad. It really is a "just all about ODST" forum.

  • 07.09.2009 6:41 PM PDT

The Spartan theories are part of the damn game... Moron.

  • 07.09.2009 6:43 PM PDT

My Best Bungie moment: finally beating all the Halo games on solo legendary.
My Worst Bungie moment: not seeing giant stuffie grunts in the Bungie store.

People don't listen.

If something bugs you, report it and hope they get banned, that is all we can do.

Everyone cares about opinions, that's why we socialize on a forum with strangers.

I don't see why this is such a big deal. Bungie should have known when they made this forums that there'd be thousands of pricing arguments and speculative threads created until the game comes out in September. No matter what you do, people are going to open threads like this, so there's really no point making such a huge deal out of it. There's no reason for anyone to get banned because they're excited enough about this game to come on here and discuss it, even if there are already a billion threads just like theirs. Lighten up, people.

Plus, how are we supposed to discuss campaign and Firefight on here without having actually played either of them?

The threads you are getting angry over do actually belong in this forum seeing as how they are speaking about about the possiblity of the main character we play as in ODST being a Spartan. So just settle down before you bust a vessel in your brain because of the intense rage you have built up against these threads.

It's ok. Come here....

The Flood is for discussion of anything not related to Halo or Bungie. All of the pricing and theory threads belong in this forum whether you like it or not.

Want I don't understand is, how do Spartan theories deal with the gameplay of, and story within, Halo 3: ODST.

Nothing wrong with theories, but that one seems way off to me. I see no evidence the rookie is a Spartan of any type.

@Senior Gomez

Read my earlier post. The title of the forum has broad meaning. They're on topic, just annoying.

[Edited on 07.09.2009 6:52 PM PDT]

  • 07.09.2009 6:51 PM PDT

Pricing has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with Campaign and Fire Fight, Spartan theories have to do with the Halo Universe and back story of this particualr game.

Edit: false and improbable, virtually impossible, back story at that.

Again, how are we supposed to discuss those things without having actually experienced them? Nobody knows the story line of Halo 3: ODST, that's why we're speculating.

Relax, it's only a few more months and then you don't ever have to read a "ROOKIE IZ SPARTAN!!!1!11" thread again.
