So, in the latest Bungie Podcast, Luke mentioned something about there being Halo: Reach meetings that day. And he mentioned that its a time for the various disciplines working on the project to see what the other disciplines are up to. The specific example he gave was for artists "working on sweet, new weapons and character models" to see what's up with Multiplayer.

Why I think the Multiplayer would be different? Because, these artists worked on Halo 3, or joined after Halo 3, and have played it. So, if they have to have a meeting and see what's up with multiplayer, its got to be different, right?

If I had to guess, I'd say it will be significantly different, otherwise why would they have a Beta? If it was the same old Halo MP than they wouldn't need to have a Beta.
In Speculation, I don't think that it will be TOO different, Bungie wouldn't want to ruin the Halo mp feel. However, they may want to test a new form of matchmaking? Dedicated servers maybe? or if it's the same old style MM than perhapse they are bumping up the player count to 24+? I cant wait for solid info on this!


Well an obvious one would be increased number of players but I think its more to test the engine in an online scenario, seeing how it is now.
