Subject: Halo 2 Vista asking for product key again?

aka MapleAeon.
My name is Dan, I like Anime and I err ... play games?
I'm also from the UK, England.

Dell XPS L501X | Intel Core i7-740QM @1.73GHz, 4Cores/8Threads, Turbo Boost up to 2.93GHz | nVidia GeForce GT 435M 2GB Dedicated | 4GB 1333MHz DDR3 RAM | Windows Home Premium x64 | SteelSeries Siberia v2 | Logitech MX518

I just recently decided that I wanted to play Halo 2 on the PC and now that I picked up a Wired controller on my trip to Florida, I thought "this will be fun".

But as soon as I start it up, it's asking me for the product key again. But I no longer have the box or the disc. And the reason I came back was to play online again, but it goes into trial mode where I cant play online.

So I really don't know what to do, I'm not going to go and buy it again.
Any help guys?
Thanks in advance.

I guess it's not stored in the registry if it's asking for it again.

All I can advise is to look after your stuff. ;)

But I used to play it all the time, why has it only just started asking me for it again?

Yes, I am a hypocrite, and I'm sorry. I really do mean well, but I'm not running on all cylinders.

Everytime someone buys a copy of Halo 2 Vista, a puppy dies.

Halo 2 is a minefield of errors and frustrations.

The bungie.net community is the halo PC community that is renowned for being unbelieveably sucky.

I have entered it in before, would there be a way to find it? So that I could re-enter it

I did some searching through my registry and couldn't find the product key for Halo 2. I think you may be out of luck. :(
