Yes....I like to camp..

I hope not...How would you move through the map? Kill all enemies then automatically move to the next area where more enemies would magically pop up? All you could do is try to dodge projectiles. Natal wouldn't really work for a shooter. Unless its something like Time Crisis.

I do not appreciate B.Net Group solicitation. If you ignore this and send me an invitation anyway, I will block communications with you.

Actually, it was Harold Ryan, the President of Bungie LLC. who discussed Natal compatibility with Reach.

If people were smart enough to do some research, they would have found the full interview with Ryan in which he himself declares that Natal would not be a huge influence on the mode of play within Reach because there is no viable way to translate all of the commands and functions of the traditional Halo experience (throwing grenades, firing your weapon, turning or looking around, etc.) into a Natal format.

It is very likely that if Natal is functional with Reach at all, that it will have motion-interactive user interfaces such as in the menus, or perhaps very small interactive portions of the game such as in "Terminals" if they include such an easter egg in Reach.

It won't change the way Halo is played, so stop panicking, and please, start using the search feature. I think this topic is starting to outnumber the Recon threads.

I reckon it'd be awesome if they just incorporated the sophisticated AI into Halo Reach from that random game "Milo"- imagine, ordering your marines to hang back until you tell them to charge. The possibilities...

This. Besides, we'll be playing the Reach beta before Natal is released. If Natal would be used, it's not going to affect Reach much.

Which translates to, "hey, rather than using a headset we might allow you to speak into the Natal hardware."

If Halo: Reach even supported the technology that's as extensive as it would probably get.

Indeed. And it is much more fun to literally "throw" tanks instead of just swinging them with control sticks.

I don't want to be "that guy" but search before you post a new thread, this topic has been covered a thousand times already.

Also yes they will ruin Halo with Natal because halo is an fps and Natal seems to be designed more specifically for driving games or interactive sports games. How would we run, turn around. shoot, get in and out of vehicles, swap weapons, ect? Maybe they could make it so you could use Natal for Reach as a secondary way of playing but I highly doubt Bungie is going to make us all go buy a new piece of equipment just to play their games. Bungie wouldn't do that to us.

Finally if I want to get up and move around after a long hard day at work I'll plug in the Wii. Halo is made for mature audiences (M) and those mature audiences probably work and most hard working adults simply don't have the energy to get up and move around while playing a video game. Most adults want to sit and relax, maybe have a drink or two and play games like Halo where there's zero physical involvement.

natal is just gonna be the wii without the dodgey controller, they should make natal games but not mix it with normal games.

Bungie is not a Money whore unlike Microsoft.I'm sure they won't use Natal for Reach, that and they have probably been working on Reach since before Natal or Reach were announced at E3 09 I think....

Every time I read something that I think is the stupidest thing ever and something can't replace it, something manages to replace it.

I woud not mid as long as it was optional.

I dunno I think NATAL would produce more lag for shooting and what not, since its where the person points.

Somebody call the WHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAMMMMBBBBBBBBUUUUUUULLLLLLAAANNNNNNNCEEEEEEEE

Reach isn't going to "ruin" Halo, just read about how big of role it's going to play. It's not going to be the main control focus, the controller is. Natal will most likely be used in campaign, for minor moments. Or just used for navigating menus. Nobody really knows how it will be used, so stop assuming that it's going to ruin it.

Im not just assuming,I'm pretty damn sure if it is used in-game then it will ruin that part of Halo Reach.

Explain how navigating menus, or having interactive curscenes, "Ruin" Reach?
