There are two things on this forum that piss me off;
Idiots and group invites.
What's even worse, is that I can never seem to get away from either of them ¬_¬

stay on topic and yes spartans can work as mercs
There where no mercenaries during the battle between Humanity and Covenant. And no Spartan would ever be a merc, due to the fact that they where raised by the UNSC and fought exclusivly for them.
The Covenant would never employ a Human Merc, and all Humans where under threat by the Covie meaning no soldier would be foolish enough to become a merc. He/she would simply fight for their life and freedom.there is rebels but thats not mercs but their close
'Fraid not. Any rebel would have you in irons for that remark. A merc wors for either side, whoever has the most money. Rebels are a side. Just because they aren't as 'official' as an army doesn;t make them a bunch of mercs. While they are more likley to hire mercs, true rebels do not fight for money, they fight for their own cause and their freedom.
Do not get mercs and rebels mixed up! :P
