If they do make one, it better be accurate and faithful to Halo. Not like RE, the movie should follow the exact same storyline as the game, down to the smallest detail.

Viggo Mortenson as Master Chief. But knowing Hollywood and seeing how they casted Jack Black as The Green Lantern, they will go probably go with Christopher Reeve and have him play Master Chief in a wheel Chair throughout the whole movie.

There is lots of good material here. Problem is that there is too much for a single movie, and not enough for a trilogy (unless you are a die-hard Halo fan and don't care a lick for plot, except to see MC carving everyone up; but no one is going to gamble a hundred million to do that). Maybe "The Fall of Reach as a movie; "The Flood" and "First Strike" collapsed into a second movie; and whatever happens in Halo2 be the conclusion of the trilogy?

I agree that I DON'T want to see Halo done as a movie until they can spend the money to do it right. If they do make a movie (and I think and hope they will), then it likely will not go strickly by the book/game because there is just too much fighting in the game to fit it all in the movie without numbing the audience before the thing is half over.
