Well, if you, in actual fact, contemplated it, considering that the UNSC lost the encounter at Reach; wouldn't it be modestly dim-witted to participate in a trailing team? The campaign conclusion would be a tad complicated to fabricate. The Covenant fought a engaging conflict in opposition to the UNSC, so why not believe in reinacting as them in Campaign as a substitute for the humans, otherwise at least both factions. It would appear to construct a bit further sagacity, for the reason that the conclusion would be improved. Take part in a perspective as an elite field commander, a zealot, or something analogous. The UNSC were the rabble of the scuffle, therefore why would you desire to participate as them, in view of the fact that in conclusion, you're going to recognize that you were fruitless, nevertheless? The populace anticipated as performing as marines, ODST's or Spartans, however, has anybody constantly reflected the initiative of playing as a Covenant affiliate, if they were the winning division? Now imagine it. If you were the UNSC, the conclusion would appear an inopportune viewpoint meant for you. Let's toggle things around. The conclusion for the Covenant would certainly fit further than the conclusion for the UNSC.
Because most people would rather fight for the humans (Seeing as we are, in fact, human) than a bunch of evil crusading aliens hell bent on exterminating our entire species. Especially me.
