In forge i want to make the ground, raise the ground level, change the terrain, choose the time of day, weather effects. I know that is what far cry 2 did but i really want that in halo because i really like to make maps.

feel free to post all your forge ideas.

I'm going to rain on your parade. because I'm a mean kitty.

you won't ever get such a powerful tool. with it you could make your own maps. how would M$ charge you for additional content if you could make your own maps?
just forget it. if it has halo in the title, then it's going to cost you money.

Ugh...

First on a BWU.. yeah, I'm cool.

ODST;MYTHIC Screenshot winner! One of the first to get their hands on the mythic map pack.

People would still buy the DLC maps.
You need these DLC maps to play match making multi-player.
So either you don't get the DLC maps, don't play match making, or you do get the DLC maps, and you do play match making.

Just because you can make these wicked awesome maps, doesn't mean they will be in multiplayer match making.

So basically, you would need to buy the DLC to play online.

or you could look at vids and screenshots on youtube, and make a replica of the map and play custom.

your argument makes sense, dont get me wrong. but c'mon, we all know that as long as M$ owns halo, it's never going to happen.

Your friend is not a reliable source of information

I think that there should be a feature where there is a grid on the ground that objects "stick" in place to and you don't just move things around totally freely, or you could toggle a button to make this happen"

What the hell? He didn't say anything about DLC. He said he wanted to be able to make his own maps.

GRAVITY CAT NOT AMUSED
Process initiated : Attempting to give a damn

Process stopping : Unable to give a damn, stopping

Process failed : Damn not given

Elevators would be nice.

I would like to be able to "Group" objects so say you perfectly balanced two objects but they are in the wrong place. You would just select the objects you want to group and then you would be able to move both objects with each other as if they were one object.

No man is left behind.

ya and you should be able to spawn buildings/ structures instead of having to start from scratch and build it with boxes

*Removes Fanboy Hat*

Some sort of Copy/Pase Option, or the ability to "Group" objects together to mve multiple items at once
