Subject: Forge, It's got to be Perfect!

weather yes, unlimited budget yes, but what I would like to see is all objects available on a map don,t limit objects to one map ,and I personally would like the choice of being a covenent engineer instead of a monitor

There are two things on this forum that piss me off;
Idiots and group invites.
What's even worse, is that I can never seem to get away from either of them ¬_¬
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"I would have been your daddy, but the dog beat me over the fence."

Hmm. Good list, not too over the top, but with inmportant additions that we've needed for a long time. I like the 'Are you sure' option to stop deleting items by mistake, although I also have another method of fixing this, if you will.

Instead of an 'Are you sure' option, which could just get annoying after a while, especially when you have to revamp an entire room, you could instead set a button (Or option in the object menu) to 'Delte lock' the item. This means that when you try to delete it, nothing will happen. The only way to delete 'delete locked' items would be to unlock it.

Items could locked either through a button on the pad or an option in the object options (The bit that sets Respawn times ETC).

Just in my opinion, that would be better and less of a hassle than an 'are your sure' option. :)

But yeah, you're other options are good. I think something to aid with geo-merging instead of removing it completely would be great. I've tried this before, but it takes meticulous planning and lots of time to get it right. SO something like what you suggest would be great. Perhaps something makes an object 'not existant'. So other objects can pass through it, but it is still visible. Then you stick everything together and turn it off, causing the objects to become solid again.

Fact 2: European guys are hotter

I guess I can understand if you don't want to make out with guys in the US if they're so ugly, you should just say so though.

I agree, weather seems simple enough considering the FX we have already. Just put 'Old Timey' and 'Juciy,' to me it seems rainy, why couldn't they just add an effect, 'Rainy?'

Limiting objects/object placement/Objects aloud has to do with lag and over-sized files, so that may or may not be possible, depending on the game engine.

Enable/Disable Means that you can turn the 'Are you Sure?' option off, and on. So if you're creating a canvas you'd turn it off, and if you were mid way through a map, you would have it on.

The lock idea will be added, as that is what the original suggestion was, i just thought it would tweak a little.

Has anyone here ever used Garry's Mod? I would love if Forge was just like that.
Yes. Garry's Mod is a PC building paradise.
You should add me on STEAM. (I know I'm off topic)

Is it to do with halo, or is it just a map building program 'For fun?'

I had little time with G-mod but I'll explain.
It was exactly like forge. But, you can tweak almost EVERYTHING of an object. Laws of physics actually applied. No merging or floating(Except flying with Balloon power :) )

You had the casual builders, serious builders, and role players. And the mingebags (little kids with power to destroy literally everything they touched)

You could make a boat fly in the air with a little tweaking.

It's awesome.

One problem. Bungie dosen't use the source engine or havok physics.

Seems interesting, is there a way i could play it?

Step 1: Install Steam on your computer. It's safe. Just do it.
Step 2: After creating account, buy a game made by Valve that has a Source engine. These are about normal game prices.
Step 3: Get Garry's Mod 10. For $10
Step 4: ???
Step 5: Profit
