Hey I just want the effective lethal range a little longer. If your not melee range with a shotgun your screwed, and it shouldn't be like that.

The Bungie Forums are what keeps my mind sharp and my fingers active, between writing my own movie scripts, drawing, and studying industrial design. At the moment I'm working on miniatures for a short movie that I'll hopefully be able to film once I've saved up for a camera... That's me, with the mug, trying to have a conversation with Konoko.

I agree about increasing the range, but I would however like to decrease the spread a bit. And since I dont like "one hit kills", Id also want the damage decreased, but only just so that it doesnt kill directly. Crouching around in the corridors waiting for a cheap kill just isnt that fun, especially not for the victim. Just as the OP said, not very epic either.

EDIT: however, for this to work, there would need to be some changes of the other weapons, melee etc.

Why not have a shotgun with decent range and power and one thats really deadly but only at close range. Two versions of the shotgun would let forgers see which shotgun works better with the way their maps plays.

I didn't know a sniper rifle had an effective range of about 10 meters.
