Read Halo:The Flood and play Halo CE. That's how I cheated on a book report in 8th grade. ;) Why read when you can play and get 99% of the same information? :D
Not sure what you're trying to say here... but Halo: The Flood was adapted from a video game, not the other way around. It's easier, because you can bulk up the story with stuff you just can't effectively put into a video game if adapting from a novel. I've had little experience in the matter, working mostly from what I know from book to film adaptions (Such as The Lord of the Rings - far too much stuff in the book to practically add to a film, so they had to edit it to work. I've figured long ago that the same applies to video games), so maybe I'm not putting it across very well. I'm sure if somebody who does know what I'm trying to say, with the ability to say it, can explain.
basicly u cant fit every single detail in a game without more then one game example "chief crouches across the grass...
