WoW is like Girls Gone Wild without the tits: idiots and douches taking turns doing anything to get noticed, and no one knows what a condom looks like.

Wall-o-text. Read before you post:

I'm unsure if this has been brought up before, but it seems plausible, and even a good idea for a few reasons. I'm not saying exclusively for PC. For Xbox and PC seems like the only remotely feasible possibility. First and foremost, because Bungie ,more or less, can. They are now an individual developer, no longer owned by Microsoft, and can develop for any platform. Halo: CE was going to be for the P.C and Mac, before Microsoft bought Bungie and had them develop for Xbox. The only hurdle here is that Microsoft still owns the Halo IP. So it's a bit unlikely that they'd give up their flagship to P.C.

It would also be interesting to see some sort of cross-platform integration, similar to Shadowrun. You could give the console players the Halo 3 "sticky-cursor" and remove it from the PC version. With some tweaking, it could be balanced.

Now before you shoot it down by saying, "it isn't Halo", or " P.c's r teh sux0rz", just remember Halo was originally developed for PC. I like both PC and console fps. The mouse is definitely easier to aim with. And we could somehow implement this rivalry between PC and console fps. There could be stat tracking for both sides that would always be visible on the front page. It could show the average K/D ratio of PC players and 360 players. That's the only fair way, because console will definitely have a larger following, for obvious reasons.

And if you worry about the 12 year olds running around ruining the precious K/D ratio of the mass, then you could have a more specific K/D ratio tracking(as well as other stats) like for specific Levels or amounts of XP(e.g. comparing 50's on PC with 50's on console). Obviously there would be quirks, but they would be fixable. And if you are vehemently opposed to the idea of Halo on PC, just get the console version. You will never know the difference. Comment thoughts and suggestions.

PC to Xbox play would not work. There are a number of things that are already wrong with PC versions of Halo. Aimbots, trainers, FOV Stealers, modding, ect. I do think that if they went with PC, they could really open up on the graphics intensity.

Yes, but the only reason that is a problem is because neither Halo game on PC is supported. So no form of anti-cheat. Take a look at Valve's anti-cheat. Haven't yet encountered a cheater in TF2. Just once though. I've encountered mods, but you choose to play in those(and they won't release the Reach dev kit so it doesn't matter anyway". I have encountered cheaters in Halo 3's multiplayer. And graphics is another reason to opt for PC(if you can fork out the cash). It's not like if you had better graphics you have in advantage in game. In fact it's the other way around.
