Halo 2- 55$
Xbox 360- 400$
Xbox Live- 45$

No Scoping a kid in the face who had the sword and hearing his squeeky voice go WHAT THE----as his voice gets cut out.

Nobody will ever forget it. The game that revolutionized Competetive, Social and Hardcore gaming. 4v4 BR duels on Midship, 1 flag CTF on relic, 1 bomb on Burial Mounds, Big team Battle on Coagulation, king of the hill on Beaver Creek, multiflag on Colosus. The list never ends.

I raise my glass to bungie for creating the best game ever. The only thing that stopped halo 2 from being the most played game forever, was halo 3.

I will never put halo 3 down. But everybody knows, to this day, Halo 2 still kicks Halo 3's ass.
IF YOU AGREE POST HERE! LONG LIVE HALO 2.

Haha, no. Halo 2 was the weakest game in the Halo series let alone the best game of all time.

People are entitled to their opinions, no matter how wrong they may be. But then again an opinion can't really be wrong, so I guess you could just say they have bad taste.

Dang, I never did go live, well, even though Halo 2 was a unpolished, somewhat glitchy game, that was 60% of the actual game that bungie intended to release, I still find this game's campaign to be one hell of a ride.

Halo 2 forever, long live the Arbiter.

I love Halo 2. It's without a doubt the best game in the series, with the best campaign, multiplayer, community, and story.

I wouldn't go so far as to say that Halo 2 was 60% of the actual game Bungie intended to release, although I am aware that they were forced to cut several campaign levels due to lack of time. In the end, however, it really doesn't make a difference; Halo 2's campaign is the best of the series, no contest, and with so many memorable locations like New Mombasa, Delta Halo, the Forerunner gas mine, and High Charity, who cares if we missed out on a Forerunner Tank and an extra level about the Heretics?

It is a rather glitchy game, that's true, but I think that's part of its charm. I mean, seriously. Who doesn't like to sword-lunge across Metropolis every now and then, or superbounce to the top of the wheel on Zanzibar? You can't do stuff like that in Halo 3, and that's a shame.

All Halo 2 had on Halo CE was online multiplayer. Halo 2 was filled with glitches, a campaign that tried to be way more than it was, terrible texture pop up, and a huge overuse of autoaim and aim assist. It wasn't a bad game, but it definitely trying. And it gets too much credit just because kids who had never played a proper online game before thought halo 2 was the best thing ever just because of it. But then again, that's their opinion to think that Halo 2 is the best game ever, no matter how wrong and ignorant it makes them seem.

Halo 2 is the best and will be the best in the Halo series. The passion, determintation, and long nights of perfecting your doubleshot and so on...

lol and have any of you noticed that most of the people that say Halo 2 sucks are the ones that always called the quad shooters and BXR people cheaters? It is always the people that say, "Oh, I don't want to learn it because it is cheating!" lol well have fun in Halo 3 where even the worst noob ever can get to a level 50!

Anyone else ever wonder what it's like for two elcor to do the nasty?

"Tentatively excited: Oh. Oh. Oh. Right there."

Yeah me neither.

I played Halo 2 for the first time in 1 year, 9 months, and 22 days. First off I gotta say Iam surprised at how many people are still playing that game and how easy it is to find matches. First thing I noticed was how different the BR is when compared to Halo 3 it gets the job done so much faster! Some of the maps that have vehicles are so tiny. And there are a lot of super jumper's. Me and my bro were playing yesterday and as we went we hit every egg, and glitch along the way. I gotta say the scarab gun is the best egg in any game. Got as far as the level with the scarab gun. Also I remembered how much I hate the newb combo.

I think Iam going to go on again when I get home, if any Bungie.net'ers wanna join me feel free to add me! Gamertag: hyperscope

halo 2 still the best game in the series. long live halo 2.

Dam, I miss the old days playing halo 2 with my old brothers in arms. Thank you my old friends for giving me this account, I shall continue our legacy.

I agree Halo 2 is still the greatest halo game of all time. I loved the campaign setup where you play both the arbiter and the chief's campaign. Online was one of the best and the fact that each map had its own glitch/bounce was good for custom games. I am suprised that so many people still play this game.

I wish I played halo 2 in it's prime, and I'm still kicking myself to this very day about buying a gamecube over a xbox.

I always wonder what if I bought the xbox, halo 2, and live, how much better would I be?

Why does everyone hate Halo 2? Maybe its because its the worst game ever next to mario.

Even though the Multiplayer was surperb, do not forget how great the Campaign was too!

Hey! That was not a bad decision, you know you had tons of fun with Super Smash Bros. Melee! Right behind Halo 2 as one of the greatest games of all time! But yeah should of got that Xbox.

I 100% agree with you on this, I love halo 3 and its one of my favorite games, but Halo 2 is the best halo game in the series and it will always be the best, always.

Yeah, you missed out a lot, you missed the great community, great maps, great teams, great gametypes, great people (Though some can be Jerks), great multiplayer, great campaign, great everything to be honest. I love halo 3, but it never touches the moments I have in Halo 2 back in 2004-2007. Halo 2 still has a great community, but you won't get as much people as they use to got back in 2004-2007, but still good, their basically all playing games like COD 4 or Halo 3 (The Jerks in Halo 2 that are now in Halo 3).

You missed a whole lot IRWS not IRS.
